Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card
| THERE WILL BE SPOILERS BELOW!!! -------------------------------------------- Note that I have not read manga beyond what was already adapted in 1st season of the Clear Card So I have a couple of questions/thoughts Why Okawa Nanase decided not to tell in anime-adaptation what Syaoran + Syaoran's Mother+ Eriol are up to? Is this to boost manga sales until 2nd season will come up? Who do you think Akiho really is? Sakura's clone? Nadeshiko's clone/reincarnation? I know that either hair or eye color doesn't match but this may be explained somehow. Like it is possible that once she'll acquire magic powers her eyes will turn green. She *has* to be more than a random girl, so that her desire to get Sakura's power specifically can be explained. Do you realize that Sakura is now in possession of THREE keys? Star Key, Dream Key, and her Mom's key? What do you think will happen in 2nd season? I think something along these lines may happen: Since Sakura started to use magic subconsciously, her power must be reduced so that she won't end up doing things like Clow Reed did to Yuuko (xxxHolic/Tsubasa character) Since Akiho seem to want her key, I think Sakura will just give it to her, maybe even along with the clear cards, and most likely along with portion of her power. About star key So in the end Sakura may end up with just Sakura cards and Nadeshiko's key, which in theory should be able to turn into a moon staff. While there is at least one official depiction of her staff, judging by design of the key it may end up looking more like Fai's moon staff That artifact they are talking about, what exactly is that? Is it not the clock? A book? They say it is used to perform some "taboo" magic. The only thing that is taboo in CLAMP universe is to bring back the dead... Who Yuna wants to bring back? What exactly is that book anyway? The language it is written in may as well be the one they use on Ceres. Could it be that Yuna D. Kaito is somehow related to Yuui, Fay or Ceres? There is no basis for that except the overall appearance and eye color. But in general it looks too fishy to be a simple coincidence. Edit: oh and he also uses Moon magic. Or at least this is what Syaoran+Eriol suggested. |
