| Reiner and Berthold had the chance to get into Eren's basement prior to Shiganshina battle arc. They knew about Eren's basement, he always talked about it and they could've extracted info directly from him about the location of his house in a friendly matter. Can you imagine what could've happened if they would have discovered the secrets? |

| Shiganshina is a big district. Reiner and Bert don't know about the location of Eren's house. Remember the fact that they pretty much didn't know about the basement stuff until the end of the trost arc. Everything happened between Trost arc and the Reveal of Reiner and Bert happened within a month. |
| No one here is actually seeing the real point here, they simple don't care, there mission was never to hide the truth from them, there mission is to retrieve the coordinate, they simple uses Eren father basement as bait, since they knew the scouts were interested in going there. Think about it, if they were not aware of Eren basement they would not have made their trap in shiganshina. |
| @changelog I'm at ch90 but thanks for using the spoiler. And @keragamming the reason I'm curious about this is that is not stated till ch90 if Reiner and Berthold know about the secrets and their true bloodline. You can use the "don't care" reason, they are soldiers, they don't have time for that, but still, when you have a life like that wouldn't be normal to try to find some secrets about your history, Eren said some big stuff it's in there. I just wonder, if they found out would they betray Zeke and Marley? @ThatShiny_Hex so, they didn't have time to ask Eren directly because Eren was protected by Levi squad? (as far as I can remember). And if they made moves, they would be immediately suspected 90% for being traitors. They were already suspected, I remember from that flashback in season 2 prior to the first Eren-Reiner fight. Sounds kinda good. |
