Shogakukan opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Sumito Oowara's Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! (Hands off the Motion Pictures Club!) manga on Wednesday. The anime series is scheduled to air on the NHK General channel.

Synopsis
Asakusa Midori wants to create an anime, but she's too disheartened to make that first step by herself. By pure chance, she meets Mizusaki Tsubame, an up-and-coming socialite secretly dreaming of becoming an animator. Together with Midori's money-loving best friend Kanamori Sayaka, the energetic trio slowly work towards making their "ultimate world" a reality! (Source: MU, edited)

Staff
Director, Series Composition: Masaaki Yuasa (Devilman: Crybaby)
Character Design: Naoyuki Asano (Osomatsu-san)
Music: Taichi Ooru (Kick-Heart)
Studio: Science SARU

Teaser PV

Oowara debuted as a manga author with the adventure comedy manga in Gekkan Spirits magazine in September 2016. Shogakukan will publish the fourth compiled volume on Friday.

Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! ranked among the top 20 titles in the male readers' division in the 2018 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! rankings. The manga was also nominated for the 11th Manga Taisho awards last March.

Yuasa. This anime is going to be good.
Before you quote me, carefully re-read what I have written.
Discussions that go around in circles will not be entertained.

Oh, this is looking great! Looling forward to this!
I'm not the biggest fan of Masaaki Yuasa (I haven't watched much of his shows) but the fact that the manga is doing so great is reassuring.

It's interesting to know that NHK is airing the second media of creating the animation. (Currently airing AsaDora is drama about animation, I heard)

Really fantastic news and makes it even better that the manga's premise is very unique and the artstyle really seems to be fits with his animation style well. I also hope the manga get translated before it airs.

Jizzy as you would call yourself because youre a dick The most butthurt award goes to you And clearly you havent watched that many shows thats why you cant determine if a show is unique or not Or maybe you're just a child who likes common stuffs where hero saves the day and guys gets all the girls. Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

Yuasa and Science SARU was all that I needed to get hyped for this. The synopsis also sounds fun.

EhーI haven’t been impressed with Yuasa Masaaki since Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei. Not expecting much after he ruined Devilman.

Since Ping Pong, Yuasa has not given the quality to which we were accustomed with his masterpiece The Tatami Galaxy or the almost perfect Kaiba and Ping Pong, his latest films and Crybaby were not bad, but were not up to par.
I hope it is something remarkable.

Expecting great animation with Yuasa on board, and hoping the story/studio enables him to achieve this.

Yuasa anime are always at least worth checking out, though I hope that this time he is a better schedule to work with. Ping Pong and Devilman were both good shows, but they definitely lacked polish. Also I am still not the biggest fan of his approach to Flash animation.
