| Eren's group is still in the mission to recover Shiganshina. Erwin talked about the plan to close both entrances to Shiganshina and defeat the titans inside. In Shiganshina the soldiers dispersed to monitor the area, Eren transformed into a titan and closed the outer door with his soldification ability, and Erwin gave Armin the authority to develop the tracking, after a while, a soldier found something in the wall and Reiner murdered him, suddenly Levy reacted attacking him, but he transformed into a Titan (Bertholdt is around too). A bunch of titans appeared inside the town, incluiding the beast titan, who threw a rock and destroyed the inner door. The opening is too good. I'm impressed by the animation quality, it's just beautiful for an action anime. Well, they finally encountered with Reiner and Bertolt, but that beast titan is gonna stop them too, and Eren is the objective, I'm kind of scared of that beast. |

| Levi was ridiculously fast to react... Well this sucks. They thought they could trap the titans, but now it's the other way around. I hope whatever Erwin has up his sleeve will get them out of there, because they're not going to win this one... |

| And here I was thinking Mob Psycho 100 II was going to win the Anime of the Year. Astounding animation and soundtrack—if they continue to keep up the quality, it'll indubitably be a good contestant to the last season's winner. |
 Pew Pew, Pew Pew. Was I the only one cracking up at this. This episode was thoroughly enjoyable, they put us in the thick of it and things are only going to get more intense, can't wait for next week. |

| It's been 6 months, but Attack on titan has returned! =D This wasn't an action-heavy episode, but they still made it very tense and powerful, which I liked a lot. It felt like the plan was going too smoothly, until Reiner popped his head out of the wall, stabbed the unfortunate nameless soldier and thus the action began. Levi really thought that his attack work kill Reiner, but sadly, it didn't. Not only that, but the rest of the titans have showed up and, including the beast titan and he produced an epic shot put-style throw that plugged up the inner gate's entrance. Hiroyuki Sawano's excellent OST was at its best here and it made the whole second half of the episode so damn superb! =) The OP was good, but song-wise, it's probably the weakest one so far. The ED, on the other hand, felt nice and relaxing. Very good, in fact. =) What a way to start the second half of season 3, I must say. Let this decisive battle commence! |

| Great first episode, loved it thoroughly from the beginning to the end. Armin got some solid focus and spotlight here, which was nice to see as he's arguably the one with the most amount of character depth in the whole show apart from Eren and Krista.....he's kinda got the shaft in Season 3 Part 1. Eren (my 3rd most favourite anime character) also made his presence felt throughout the episode via his strong character for which we'all know him, even though his titan transformation failed for some reason. The episode got really intense towards the end with the Beast Titan attacking all-out with his fellow huge titan army, leaving us all really hyped and excited for the next episode. From the preview of the 2nd episode, it seems like that there's gonna be a ton of intense/action fighting throughout. I hope that my #1 anime girl Mikasa finally gets some spotlight....more importantly some solid titan butt-wrecking badass moments.....I really did miss her not being in the spotlight in Season 3 part 1, but that was obviously understandable as it was necessary to give some extra insight into Levi and Krista's characters. I'm fully expecting this season to be an absolute blast and to shake me up to the core.....I'm a huge AOT fan myself, it's my 2nd most favourite anime of all time. :) |

It's a bit weird how everyone starts tapping the walls to look for enemies. I didn't remember Reiner getting brutalized like that by Levi, it's been long since I've read that chapter, but holy shit, that was brutal. That behaviour kinda fits Levi. Good to see Erwin trusting Armin. The new opening is pretty awesome. As it starts, it kind of reminds me of the first opening. They definitely did a great job on having very similar opening to the previous ones. Oh, also this season is going to be just 10 episodes? I can understand that, I just rarely see any anime season with just that many episodes. |

I remember thinking when I first started watching this series "she's badass and I love her, but as I watch her further I think she's lame and only exist to be Eren's armor. | This episode did an excellent job of building tension throughout the operation, waiting for that moment when Reiner and co would turn the tables and begin their attack. Also good to get some spotlight on Armin again after so long without. Great start to this season. |
| Waaaaa!!!!! The goosebumps at the second half! Paired with that awesome bgm/ost. This is the arc that I am really waiting to get animated especially the Levi vs **cough, cough*** fight. I hope they can maintain the intensity until the end. Too bad there's only 10 episodes but as long as the intensity and quality is good, it's okay. |

| Damn I wasn't expecting this quality for just a first episode in a while. And damn Levi being brutal af as usual. There's only gonna be 10 episodes, but at least with this one I know I'm not gonna be disappointed later. |

Armin not being used to assuming a leadership-like role was very noticeable, as uncomfortable he was, yet he managed to remain steadfast in his hunch-based reasoning skills while being right all along. Excellent character development. It's nice to go from one AOTY-contender (Mob Psycho 100 S2) to another strong AOTY-contender (Shingeki No Kyojin S3). Cool episode in overall. xD when i read what u said it was all in L's voice that avatar is perfect yea seeing Armin develop like that was fantastic overall loved those scenes too |
