| Already noticed some animation decline in earlier episodes but this episode took a nosedive. Didn't expect Hyakkimaru to have no backbone, good thing he grew one (metaphor intended). Well sad that Dororo went a separate way after Hykkimaru showed no concern for the village...but pretty bad timing now Itachi is back with the map |

| Wow... so many people trashing the series because this episode had bad animation. In my personal opinion, I liked it very much. It felt like I'm watching a Science Saru anime more or less which is definitely not a bad thing in my book. I dunno, people are just beyond me. I liked the episode as well. I hope Dororo is safe. |

| Another 2 part episode... that village was an awful place it was too perfect on the surface, and when that old woman and kid yoinked away soon as Dororo raised the question of the burned temple, you really knew something was up. That it actually entailed mass child sacrifice to the demons is no surprise at all. But the way people justify their decisions to sell out to the demons is revealing- they always say "All I had to do was let them live here" or something sounding benign, they always leave out the ritual sacrifices and blood their entire society is built on. Hyakkimaru says he doesn't care about the consequences of killing the demons but it's obvious letting them persist is way worse than people learning to live their lives without horrors being committed behind the scenes. |
| Animation elitists ruin anime. The only thing I thought was wrong with this episode is that it was weirdly paced. |
