Favourite Comedy Anime
| Probably not original, but why not have some fun and poll for everyone's favourite comedy anime. Okay, so the poll is for voting for your number #1 comedy anime series and the comments for listing your top three and comments on those series. Before you start with where's......I've listed all the one's that I'm aware of that are primarily comedy anime, while choosing to leave out Gintama, because......I just don't want to include it. We all know it has a large fan base, I'm more interested in finding out the other comedy series people like. My top 3: 1: Arakawa Under the Bridge - I love the characters. 2: Cromartie High School - I love delinquent series and this one mocks them all. 3: Grand Blue - It taps into that vulgar side of me that unashamedly loves American Pie Movies. |

| Well since Gintama is left out as mentioned, then I'd have to go with Love Lab. But since that's left out I'd have to go with Gekkan Shoujo...which is also left out. Then I'd probably go with Baka to Test...oh wait If we're talking about just that list then maybe Grand Blue I guess with Arakawa/Saiki K 2nd |

| From that list, my fav is Daily Lives of Highschool Boys. My fav is Seto no Hanayome but it's not in the list :< |
| Of those it's Hinamatsuri, followed by Daily Life of High School Boys and Cromartie Highscool. Outside of this list my favorites would be Astro Fighter Sunred, which is a parody of the super sentai genre and sadly mostly unknown, and Gintama's early seasons. |

The funniest one of those is either Sakamoto or Arakawa, not really sure tbh. Now I feel like an idiot for forgetting Konosuba and Tanaka-kun, especially Tanaka-kun since it's a favourite, how I forgot that I don't know.... |

| The only one I've seen from the list is Prison School (and I loved it!) so it would be unfair to give my vote. |

| Fuuuuuuck it. Obviously none of the ones I want to vote for are on that poll, but at least you designed the poll around ones that you know and admitted that you weren't trying to slight people or anything, I guess, so I'll play along. On that list it's kind of difficult for me to choose between Umaru-chan, Saiki K. or Sakamoto, but in the end I just went with Saiki K. It was the best of those three from a pure comedy standpoint - Umaru I don't even really like for the comedy as much as the character interaction, so in a comedy discussion I'll emphasize it less. Sakamoto is close, but it didn't reach the same highs (or lows, for that matter) as Saiki did. The peaks outweighed the depression for Saiki significantly in my book as well, so I'll choose something that missed sparingly but peaked a lot higher when it got it down to it, as opposed to something that was just consistently the same levels of funny throughout but never being quite *as* funny as what it's going against when its opponent would get on a roll. Saiki was a lot more sporadic, both in terms of content and quality, and I think that actually helps comedy a lot, especially when they're kind of rooted in absurdity. If any of that makes sense xP It's 4 in the morning and all. |

| Voted for Hinamatsuri, Zombieland Saga is my favorite series on the list but not necessarily for its comedy. Nozaki-kun is my favorite comedy though (if you don’t count Gintama ofc) |
| My favorite comedy is King's Game, but since it's not on the table, Hinamatsuri. It's one of the very few comedy adaptations that I actually see as better than the source material. Most comedy adaptations suffer from the transition coming from manga with comedic timing being incredibly different, and with comedy anime typically being pretty lower budget. Hinamatsuri didn't suffer much, if at all, when it got it's adaptation. The animation was unnecessarily good, the comedic timing was onpoint, and the voice actors and actresses delivery of the jokes were great. The adaptation was....not so great. Comedic timing suffers, and the soundtrack is like one flute track and one heavy metal snippet |

| There's some few that are not listed that should be in there but oh well, out of all the options in the poll, Nichijou and Daily Lives of Highschool Boys were by far my favorite comedy to watch. I haven't seen Hinamatsuri yet. Gotta check out on that soon. |

| Lolicons are scum. BABYMETAL is more metal than Metallica. Naruto is objectively the best anime ever. HxH 99' is decent. HxH 11' is bad. |
| Is Hinamatsuri even a comedy? Certainly it started as one but then it became melodrama for at least 3 episodes and I dropped it. Liked cocktail girl - the only sane person on the show. Grand Blue - not funny for me. Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto - also not that funny. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid - yes, some jokes there but actually slice of life yuri drama. Lucky Star - relaxing slice of life but not that much of a comedy. |

| You forgot to include the original devilman ovas, aka the only funny anime. Jk probably gekkan shoujo nozaki kun as far as normal comedy. Only shows on the list jve seen are nichijou and lucky star, neither of which I found funny. |

| Gintama is funnier than all these shows combined, but if I had to pick one I would go with Arakawa. |
| At most, I thought Konosuba or Gintama would be on the poll. But neither are. But neither are my favs. I don't dislike Konosuba, but haven't watched Gintama (only seen various clips of it). My fav comedy is Seitokai Yakuindomo. |
