| Depends on the series. series' that I love I'm more inclined to watch the specials and OVAs, only rarely do I watch specials for anime I don't care for but I have done it for god only knows why. |

| I'll watch an OVA if I really liked the main series, but I'll watch related movies if they exist and aren't pure recaps because the animation itself can often be better. |

| Sometimes I'll watch the extras right after, sometimes I'll watch them years later, sometimes I'll watch some of the extras close to when I finished the series (or during for things like Precure and Cardcaptor Sakura where the movies are chronologically in the middle of the TV series as well as anime that have episode X.5 OVAs where X<the total number of episodes for the series), and sometimes I'll just forget about them or will even do one quick search and if I can't find it on my favourite site I'll just move on. Some OVAs I'll find years later on Youtube after having dismissed them for not being viewable on Kiss or 9. TL;DR: It really depends on the series, my situation, and the situation of the availability of the extra. |

| If OVAs and movies are canonical or comprise of a sequel to the main series, I'll, most probably, watch them. Otherwise, it'll depend on how much I like the franchise. For example, I've watched most of the Detective Conan movies and a few of its OVAs too. |

| To be honest mostly OVAs (as TV show's spin-off) are crap, unless the show is episodic slice of life comedy otherwise they're just badly-written filler episodes. Movie... it depends. Quite often they're just like filler OVAs with a bigger budget. It also goes over my head how many of those anime movies has the same production value as the TV, while they're supposed to be sat through in a theatre.. |

| I watch the tv series, and if the anime was great, good or boring I skip it's OVA, ONA, Specials and Movies. If the anime was amazing, brilliant or mouthwatering than I watch them. Examples: Tsubasa Cronicle, Shingeki no Kyoujin, Re:Zero |

| If they are sequels and readily available I'll probably watch them next after I finish the previous thing. If they're just some rubbish chibi theater, picture drama, or fanservice OVA than they aren't a priority. I don't just stick to one show or franchise though I'm always watching 5-15 different shows at once. |

| i prefer to watch anime over watching habits great jokes aside I almost never watch anime movies or OVAs because more often than not, theyre just generic junk. even if the main series is good, its movie will more than likely be junk |
