| Terrible visuals aside (fucking art style and environmental CG), this was pretty fun. Hell, there are even some cool shots. The characters are pretty fun for the most part. Gonna watch the original before continuing this tho. |

I actually thought some of the scene composition was good, and the character expressions were handled pretty well. The digital effect for the "transformation" at the end was goofy as fuck and I loved it. The OST and audio editing in general were surprisingly solid, even though I don't love the ED. Seems like a fun story, so I'll probably continue with the 2019 version and go watch the original after. |
