| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was sweet. The opening song is short and lighthearted to the point. Nanako really bought out both the comedy and charm of this episode imo. She uses her emotions and body language to communicate rather than vocal words. The animation style imo is vibrant with a good degree of colors. It's actually better than what I had anticipated. Eiji and Nanako has some funny chemistry already :D I think the ED theme song has a nice tune to it too.  |

| Ehh, idk about this one. Compared to the manga, the comedy didn't work that well here. It might be cause of the manga's 4-koma structure, but the comedy lacks any flow in this first episode. And idk how big of an issue this will be later on, because the series is basically 95% gag comedy, 5% everything else. So far, the comic timing feels off. Sometimes the lines lack impact (might be a fault of the script rather than the VAs), and use of music and sound effects don't add to the humor. Because of this, the punchlines don't work. The VAs are good though. |

| Damn that OP and ED were lit, really like the light-hearted atmosphere in this Although I feel like the jokes are being delivered too passively, especially since this series has a lot of straight man style humor. |

| That was an adorable first episode. I don't think the 12-minute episode length will be a problem for this style of series either. If the series continues to be like this, it will certainly be a nice little watch and probably an underrated gem. |

I could go on but I don't feel like it. Also I didn't realize she voiced any of those characters until just now. Well, I can't think of any harem anime where her character won but still. EDIT: OK watching this episode I enjoyed it to an extent but it just felt a little... off? I like the manga well enough but yeah idk, guess I'll see how the rest of the show goes. |

| Pretty "Ehh" episode. Wasn't all that funny. Only a few of the jokes stuck and it felt like the anime was just going through the motions. Also, I noticed a surprising lack of actual animation. Too much of the episode were still images. I've read some of the manga, and it was genuinely entertaining. I hope the anime improves. It was cute though. 6.25/10 |

| Pretty catchy OP and a sweet one too. Hmm so Nanako is that bad at speaking huh. Still her way of writing out her responses sure was funny as is her physical reactions. Eiji's just tough on the outside huh. But man his tough guy look sure is sabotaging his attempts to make friends with others. Hmm communicating with senryu sure is an interesting idea. Hmm a strong first ep that did well in showing the strong bonds between Nanako and Eiji and the chemistry between them. Also loving the contrast between their personalities too. |

| First, the OP is beautiful. Second, the atmosphere is so calming and vibrant. MCs' relationship between them is so sweet that i couldn't handle it. The humour is something that didn't hit to the point well. ED is nice Overall: A diabetes show for this year. Looking forward to it. |

| This is something new and refreshing and I fell in love with this anime immediately! The animation is nice, the characters are enjoyable, and the interactions among each other are fantastic and hilarious. The "confession" was funny and when Nanako was pounding on Busujima's back, that was adorable. Hana Kana did a good job portraying her voice differently for Nanako compared to some of her other characters. Very Well done. I like how we get some of Nanako's inner monologue as well. I feel like her talking in 5-7-5 would get old rather quickly so it's nice to get that. DONT TURN INTO A HAREM. Even though some of the other females entering are cute. I like the Goth looking one.  |
