| I could care less about genres, screw the labeling! every genre in games are attached to their average formulas. What I want more than genres is for games to be more diverse. I wish more FPS games could be more like Breakdown, best sci-fi/action game I ever played for 5 dollars. For 5 dollars, I bought a game that doesn't bore me with your average FPS formula. I grew up with platformers, but Tail Concerto is the best hands down! plus the story and direction it went is superior for its genre's standards, more action-packed for its standards too. So yeah! every genre needs to have more black sheep of their own. |

| RPGs and Visual Novels are pretty much all I play. Although, I would love it if an actual decent “Need For Speed” game came out that’s comparable to the fun I had when playing Most Wanted. |

| My top 1 would definitely be grand strategy games, such as the ones made by Paradox Studios. I love playing history and changing it, and also the feeling of leading your nation to victory. I also love RPG games on my mobile phone, such as Azur Lane and Epic Seven. I also play driving simulation games such as Forza Motorsports 7. I used to play a lot of open world and FPS games back in the days but lately I got bored of them. The only open world game I play is Witcher 3 and as for FPS I only play R6 siege and Apex with friends. |
| Growing up it used to be FPS, Platformers, and RPGs but now that I'm older it's just anything multiplayer or with a personalized experience that isn't linear because if that isn't the case I might as well just watch a speedrun of the game or a compilation of all the cutscenes rather than play it since I don't really have the time to play videogames anymore anyway. The genre and game needs to lend itself to a personalized experience. Also I prefer when games mix multiple genres although I'm really open to pretty much any genre. |
| Mines would be between J/RPG's and shooters. Grew up with the pokemon game and I guess I just never lost interest in RPG themed stuff then I was always fond of Halo when I had it on the Xbox :) |
