| rimuru can copy ppl skills by simply looking or touching at em , that's how he got the skill to summon demons . rimuru got this technique in the adventurer/guild exam that was skipped in the anime , the dude summoned a lesser demon to test rimuru's strength so rimuru copied his skill by simply looking at it . according to veldora rimuru doesn't necessarily need to completely devour the targets to gain their skills , in other words by simply looking or touching em are enough for him/great sage to obtain everthn . that being said , in tensura world skills and arts are two different things . for example , if rimuru devours hakurou , he'll definitely gain all hakurou natural skills as a monster (ogre/kijin) but.. rimuru won't be able to gain hakurou's sword art techniques . |

And does this mean Rimuru won't get access to his powers as a result? the ogre king ? you mean the orc king ? ifrit is a spirit after all , he's a spiritual being so he doesn't have physical body . ifrit is basically masses of energy , so he can live by simply relying on magicules or natural energies around him . it's stated that veldora actually tried to save the orc king too but the dude refused the help , he chose to disappear in peace . |
