So it's 2019 already and it's almost been 2 years since the show aired and I watched it.
Is there even a chance for a second season?

Really not sure, but I enjoyed this so much that I went out bought the manga. maybe at some point I hope

Highly doubt it. The manga ended over a year ago, and there's no point making a second season to promote a manga that has now finished.
