It is unfortunately the advantage and/or disadvantage of a public discussion board. Differing opinions seldom reconcile and both sides are just too immature/fanatical in their own crusade to accept valid points from the opposing view. That said I do enjoy reading both sides of the narrative, that does sometimes help me catch details that I might have missed while watching. Most of their opinions really don't matter, in fact were I a new user looking for opinions on the show, I'd be much inclined to check out the anime to judge for myself. You wouldn't want a board that's full on circle jerking loathe or reverence either yes? |

I haven't seen anything comparable to SH yet, but I haven't had a chance to watch more than a couple episodes. Also, this is not the ONLY reason that SH has bad writing. |

Not every little thing must be explained in a separate thread to spoil people just because you have LN knowledge. If someone wants to know more in the discussion threads or actually asks for it, that's enough. And the shield was kind of underwhelming in the anime. I liked the way it controlled Naofumi, but after the initial activation it was slowly just not good anymore. The dragon was better done in the LN/manga. |
