lol this ep felt like a five nights are freddie's anime adaptation. those "furry" kigurumi costumes made me chuckle ever so slightly. other than that solid story.

Well damn....This series is truly something else

I'm a bit confused as to what happened to Imaginator though, so could any LN reader fill me in on what exactly happened to her? As well as if the Towa Organization will return?

Other than that, I'm very happy that Orihata survived and that she's able to be with Masaki and happily do so now too. Boogiepop is truly OP tho lol

Looking forward to the 4 episodes we're getting next though

i recently just finished reading all of the english light novels, towa organization is pretty much the main overarching villain of the show and they're talked about in the next arc.

fourth book is fucking awful so beware of that next arc ya'll lol
Okay that's cool and interesting lol

Good conclusion to this arc. Well solved.

I still think Jin the counselor was trying to solve mortal pain and misery through an unethical process - brainwashing - that had a high cost at a personal expense. In short, I he is still defined as a vigilante through his actions. If Jin was purely evil, Boogiepop would have killed him, but Boogiepop indirectly killed the Imaginator/Minahoshi Suiko for once and all because Jin - ironically - was brainwashed by her.

The Imaginator arc is more impressive than the Manticore story. The characters' intentions seemed clear initially, but as the story continued their intentions were discovered as flawed. What is true and what is false were placed in the gray area. I will use the most hated character in the arc. Spooky E was a synthetic human created to perform malicious actions for the Towa Organization which at first seemed he turned evil as a reflection of suffering from negative life experiences - a learned behavior. Once Jin removed the implanted evil, recognized as thorns of a rose visually in the show, Spooky E believed he had no more purpose to exist. Real humans are not one dimensional like Spooky E and the implication is if real humans think they are one dimensional then it challenges themselves the idea of being an organic human.

Aside from that, the arc with the Manticore and Echoes was clear cut evil against good, but only the intricate plot explanation was the main factor that kept the viewers watching. "I (probably) know the Manticore is the antagonist, but how does the story unravel? Let's continue to watch."

ok so kinukawa doesn’t get raped lol. orihata was a specimen created to try and crossbreed with humans and thus had sex with a lot of men so she tried pursuing masaki for that same reason. i’m not too clear because i haven’t read the books in forever but i’m pretty sure that the imaginator brainwashed asukai somewhat but a lot of it was from his own personal philosophy and desires

In the end, I just didn't care too much for this arc. Never even understood what Imaginator(the floating girl) was trying to accomplish.

Oh, well. Onto the next arc. Hope it's better than this one. Don't know why all the episodes were released at once, but at least watching each episode back to back will make things easier to understand.

Masaki called Orihata who was with Asukai, they answered and he threatened Asukai, Masaki went to the park. Suema talked with a recovered Kinukawa, who gave her the clue of what happened in Paisley Park. Suema told Miyashita she was going to go to the park. Asukai talked with Otoha about his plan of using his ability to make everyone happy. Masaki arrived to the park and he got attacked by other people, he was losing, but suddenly Boogiepop appeared and saved him. Suema arrived to the park. Boogiepop confronted Asukai, and after discussing with Imaginator, she saved him from a fall from the tower. Imaginator appeared in front of Masaki and disappeared, he fainted, Suema, Otoha and Kirima helped him, the other people recovered.

Another arc is finished, apparently Imaginator disappeared and it's gone along with Spooky E. The show has telled every story in a different separately, without connecting each other, but with if Echoes is related to synthetic humans, which could be the best way to end this story, only readers know.

Good conclusion to this arc. So, Jin's plan was going to fail anyway.

Much better than the first rushed arc.

meh the first arc was better. I didn't liked the romance thing here (where male lead was too dense for my taste) and less Boogiepop this time around. Also Imaginator as a villain didn't seem that complex at the end of day.

Also I didn't understand he able to figured out where the phone came from? that was just too ridiculous

Jin apparently couldn't harm Orihata because she wasn't human, but how did he manage to alter Spooky E, who wasn't human either? I didn't get that part 🤔
