THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
I like that this episode was more about the characters than the lore.

Rin practically went a bit crazy there, she was thinking she finally found a place for the family, then has to discover that this place will go down. Just went down to fight all of them which doesn't work, only did she regain her composure when Wakaba went down to protect her.

Her growing attachment to Wakaba now seems believable.

I feel for Ritsu, she just can't stand to see them taking all up for her and i got emotional, too when they found a safe haven for now.

Next episode looks big, turning point?

Man, I thought they finally found a place to live peacefully. But it's just episode 7 so it was not going to happen.

it fell off when he slid off the roots of the tree to join Rin on the den of red bugs, it's something you have to be looking at him on the scene to see it happen.

This show gets a bad rap. It's the best thing going in terms of keeping me interested in what happens next.

-- the thick blue wall has a defense sytem which summons blue robots when the wall is attacked

-- the blue robots will not follow if you get in by pressing buttons on the wall

-- I assume the red robots cannot attack the wall directly because it will summon blue robots

-- the red robots bypass the defense system of the wall by collapsing the branches, therefore slowly collapsing parts of the blue wall. The red robots and the red fog will eventually get in.

-- the group now needs to find the evil red tree and eliminate it.

-- can't wait for next week!! :)

This setting is Kemono Friends +500 years where Lucky Beast has turned into an army of violent machines.

This episode here was hands down the best, and I am actually really sad how much this anime is underrated...if the story keeps staying on this level it is definitely going to be anime of the month

Nobody mentioned that there's an Easter egg in this episode, you can see original wakaba's lab coat hanging off the big tree in a scene if you look closely.

"happy endings always precede tragedy" I hate this so much.

Just let they be happy after all.

Whatever, this series is now more similar to movie "9" than never!

It is 10 years old, you guys really should check this western animation.
