So, there is this thing called Super String, where characters from different manhwas work together and whatnot. Because of that, you'll see characters from 'Terror Man' or 'Neolith Girl' here.

Now, the question is, do I have to read all of these to understand the story fully? I mean, there are lot of unexplained stuff here, will it be explained in other manhwas?

At the end of this manhwa the author states that you don't need to read any other series to understand Distant Sky. There are small moments like references (e.g. at some point a character from Neolith Girl looks at a pendant that I don't recognize because I haven't read Neolith Girl) but you don't have to understand them. My guess is that it might explain who these two characters are or what their intentions are.
Personally I'm not a fan of adding characters from other universes/series, but in this case I didn't feel like I was missing out on much (except knowing more about the characters which was a bit frustrating tbh).
