Just as the title implies. Something relaxing and stress-relieving that puts a smile on your face and just makes you feel like everything's gonna be okay.

My personal favorite:

Edit: I had no intention of starting silly flame wars, or a "Yuru Camp crusade" when I posted this thread. This anime in particular got me through a rough time last year, and was the first title to pique my interest in the SOL genre. My only reason for beginning this thread was to discover other similar shows. Anyway, you guys do you. Ciao!

Amen brother. I went into it not having a clue why I was watching a show about a bunch of girls going camping, but I came out of it a better person.

Idk, there's too many for me to just name one like always with these questions.

But if I have to, I might name Natsume Yuujinchou. It doesn't matter what my mood is, an episode of that show will always take over my mood and just make me comfy and relaxed. There's probably other shows which are even more comfy, but not many come close to being as effective as Natsume in terms of overwriting whatever mood I was in when I started the episode and that's the most important part to me.

For example Aria is super comfy as well, but I need to be in the right mood for it which isn't the case all that often. That's why I really love shows that bring their mood with them.
I probably regret this post by now.

I was barely active on MAL while it was airing (didn't start making my list til months later), and didn't see Yuru Camp until August/September-ish of last year. Sorry if I'm continuing some kind of trend, but I didn't know about it! :P

Definitely Yuru Camp takes the spotlight for this! It’s just so soul-refreshing and sweet, can’t wait for the 2nd Season to air already!

Others that come to mind include Amaama to Inuzuma(Sweetness and Lightning) [which is one of my favourite, probably second after Yuru Camp, iyashikei shows too], Usagi Drop, Sora Yori mo Tooi Basho, Himouto Umaru Chan, Hinamatsuri and many more.

i'm gonna say it........ yuru camp wasn't that comfy. i felt like it was lacking too much in emotion and chemistry between characters, still definitely comfy and a good show, 7/10, i've just seen comfier is all
the absolute best when it comes to comfy is non non biyori
barakamon, usagi drop, yuyushiki, and new game were also all very comfy watches for me

My personal favorite:

Yuru Camp,
Gochuumon wa usagi desuka? and
Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu mama

Are simply perfect. Beelzebub felt especially good because it always aired right after Bunny Girl-Senpai

As everyone has already stated: Yuru Camp

But my favourite would have to be Emiya-san Chi no Gohan (basically Fate characters cooking show) which btw, the recipes actually work and tastes great I've tried. Saber in this show is basically a mood

Tsurezure Children!
It's a series made of small skits, it's about teenagers in love. It's sweet, it's wonderful, it's funny, it's short, it's definitely one of the "comfiest" anime I've ever watched.
Then you can go read the manga, which is just as relaxing!
Everything changes. Even the happy and funny things eventually disappear. How can I still enjoy this place then?
