| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Among these pianists, Sophie is definitely someone to keep an eye on. She has a very refined and elegant way of playing the piano. A pretty intense episode with the amount inner dialogues imo. Wei Pang is of course one of the talents that showed incredible skill. I'd say, this second round of the competition carried a lot skill in the performance of these characters. |

| The musical aspect is still the strongest with Pang Wei's melodramatic life played out through his pieces of demeanor. And of course, Sophie did just as well. However, art and animation still continues to take a hit, with the weirdly unanimous applause and lesser art, and 3DCGI to replace. |

| Animation sucked, but otherwise, this was a good and intense episode. Loved the playing tbh. |
| Those panning shots of the audience. They looked like the Danganronpa characters during a class trial. Other than that i liked the episode. |

| Oh, that crowd was painful to look at, but at least the musical aspect is still great, Funeral march is easily my favorite piece of piano play. |

| Damn, those crowd panning shots were very weird. Kind of an absurd CG combination of 3D environment and 2D characters. They crowd very obviously came across as sprites and I even saw some aliasing near the top. XD The music performance was great and Wei Pang has lived a difficult life but he's made it far. :) |
