| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy, trying to understand the past is not easy. Masaru should know that even though he is more experienced than before, he's still vulnerable against a lot of the supernatural entities in this show. Either way, he should really be more careful if he wants to discover the truth of his family's past. Still, I find this episode to be a very important one that revealed more of Masaru's character and his origins. Also, I hope he can improve his marionette skills since he can use the ones Sadayoshi once used. |

| We're back with Masaru and well, looks like he has seen better days. The puppets and that crow from the OP finally made their appearance, I honestly thought they were evil xD. I wonder where will this be heading now. |

| The fact that Masaru can't remember his father's face is more interesting when you know that he's genius and has Hyperthymesia, meaning that he can remember virtually everything he has seen, which was revealed in the manga but was skipped in the anime (huh, what a surprise) but some manga-reader noted it in one of the discussions (the thread of the last episode of the Mansion arc I think). The moment they said "memory transfer" I was like "Oh my God what is this now". Frankly, I guess it's amazing how many routes and directions the story of Karakuri Circus goes, which is in my eyes the main charm of it, besides its original ideas. Even though the anime was Pierroted but no complains HereticHunter said: The puppets and that crow from the OP finally made their appearance, I honestly thought they were evil xD. I also thought so, like they will be the replacements for the Pionniers, but then I saw some of the manga volume covers today on MAL and saw this episode XD. It's cool though to know that Masaru now has three marionettes in his arsenal. Now he'll just have to master them. |

| WTF, so Masaru isn't Masaru at all , but the dad Sadayoshi, who transfers his memories to the kid. Man, those Shoji Henchmen were either too stupid or just too flashy, they should have just brought a gun with them and then shoot Masuaru or Sadayoshi to easily get over with. so, from here on it's gonna be a Masaru arc. |

| Even though i am not a Manga reader, i feel that the story is quite messed up here and there. They must be skipping a lot chapter for this to happen. There is no way 420+ chapter can fit in 36ep. |

| There's so many plot holes in the narrative with the way they are doing things that I'm legitimately thinking of dropping this anime. Like don't get me wrong, this is a very enjoyable show. But how am I supposed to be able to follow this when there's so many things missing that it makes it hard to follow the story? Like I was hoping with a Masaru focus, we'd be able to go back and see what Masaru and Shirogane were doing while Narumi was off fighting. Instead, we've got this whole: "Who is Masaru?" arc going on without any real context. Again...not sure if I'll continue this show. It's really good but so much material feels like it's missing and it's hard for me to really go forward going blind. |

| Hoo boy...we're back to the beginning! After weeks of the Narumi-Shirogane/Doll Francine shenanigans of history, going back to plainly Masaru's history is one that he himself will not have realized all this time...the reason of his dad's enormous fortune that everyone has scoured him for. The Masaru we know isn't Masaru, but his Dad instead, all part of an experiment. A memory transfer...all part of a family power struggle. Finally this series is watchable again... |

| Such drama and mystery unveiling in this episode. It seems everything Masaru believed about his family and himself was a lie all along. I see the plot being good, but damn those puppets were really Thanos level. I wished I had those puppets. This was a really great episode. |

| Wow so there was more things going on in the Saiga family, So masaru isn't masaru but Sadayoshi, but something went wrong and he is still Masaru? I think this is somehow connected to Doll Francine or Jin |
