| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Recaps all 40 episodes in 90 minutes. As so, it is very rushed and skips a lot of content but it's still Rose of Versailles and revisiting the main scenes was a delightful experience, therefore 6/10. |

| I tried finding justification for this existing... and there is none. Just a recap of one plotline, the romantic one, no new animation, no new scenes, nothing. And even recap should bring SOMETHING new to the table imo. Just cutting other stuff off isn't nearly enough, just makes the watching experience worse. 5/10 |
