Domestic na Kanojo is one of my favorite romance manga, along with GE (same author Sasuga Kei) and i really recommend that u read it, cause the story and drama is really intense (read along with GE too)

But well, if u want spoiler here u go

•Hina and Shu break up cause he cant and wont break up his marriage just for Hina
•Natsuo's feeling for Hina is growing, and now Hina aware of this
•Rui and Natsuo join the Literature club at school, with their friend Momo (she appear in Opening), and met Miyu (she appear in Opening) and the counselor teacher Kiriya, and Al, the half european who have crush for Rui.
•Rui trying to finds out what exactly is her own feeling for Natsuo, while they occasionally share kisses
•Hina starting to have a feeling for Natsuo, but continue to doubt wherter a relationship between student and teacher would work. They eventually started to going out, and Hina feels that this is one of the happiest moment in her life
•Natsuo finding out that Kiriya is actually the novelist that wrote his favorite novel series. Natsuo strive to become a better writer under his guidance
•Rui finds out about Natsuo and Hina. She take it hard at first, and tries to wipe her feeling for Natsuo, even thou she still have some lingering for him. Hina move out of the house.
•Gradually Rui and Natsuo relationship returned as before they started kiss, as good friend/brother-sister
•Natsuo and Hina having their first time, sleeping together in the school trip. A few weeks later the school found out about this and Hina begged the school to just punish her instead of punishing them both, while Natsuo is unaware of the situation
•Natsuo and Hina had their long awaiting date in the theme park. Natsuo gave Hina a ring that symbolize the commitment that he willing to give to Hina, and she accepted it happily while in tears. Next week after that, Hina was gone, transferred to teach in another school far away leaving Natsuo and her family without saying goodbye
•Natsuo enter a depression state after Hina leave, unknowingly of the true reason. In this time, he put all of his misery into driving force to write a novel, while Rui always beside him cheering up and give him a new spirit
•Rui brought Natsuo to hiking in the mountain. This trip gave natsuo the inspiration to write final chapter of his novel, and finally realize that Its always been Rui that give him the power to write and go thru all the sad times. Natsuo feeling for Rui start to re ignite

And that is only covering about 70ish chapter.. There are more than 200 chapters already released

As someone who enjoyed the romantic dynamic seen in Onegai Teacher, this series has sparked my interest. Though I read a comment on the wikia that makes me hesitant to pick it up. Maybe someone here has a counter point or different perspective.

I can't really say this person missed the mark. It isn't playful, it's presented as drama, so you can't help but feel the main character is an idiot, the kind who would have a hard time picking whether to eat his spaghetti with a spoon or a fork.

I can't say you won't like the series (manga preferably), but I at least can say you won't like the main character. Unlike other series where the main character is someone you can just brush aside, this one specifically annoys you and pisses you off.

ve been reading domestic kanojo for about 2-3 ish years now and its one of my favorite manga's of all time. It would have been more fun if you read it yourself

Thank you for the reply and insight. I can't stand a wishy-washy MC. I think I'll pass for now, I'll be moving it way down my priority list and possibly come back to it in a drought.

Don't read the manga if you have weak heart or have a problem with your stomach.
Because this story just gonna torment you with its stupid plot after sweet development in few volumes, like "i love you so much even if you became piece of sh*t, but we have to break up" with NTR vibes all around the corner.
I have to go to hospital to treat my uncontrolable stomach acid after binge reading this crap.

The author made the mc act like female in a body of male. Without any strong act to solve the problem.

In 216, Rui break with Fuji :') and 217 Hina tried to calm down in several ways. I hope that Rui returns with Fuji because Rui has done everything so that Fuji is not as depressed as before.

Trust me, it's something you don't want to get into. After chapter 90 or around there, the series starts getting much worse and even current manga readers are also stating how bad it is. Sad really since this series had so much potential, but it just got really bad.

And it makes me laugh at how people are loving the anime so far (I will admit the op is catchy), but they have yet to read where the manga is now and will probably drop the series like the majority of us did
