| Silhouette imo. It's just hype, and if you include the animation from both openings I like Naruto's better with all the fight scenes. |

| Evangelion's doesn't have the generic "main characters running" sequence, so it wins automatically as far as I'm concerned. Evangelion's opening is also much more memorable and unique, both in terms of the the song and especially the visuals. |

| Cruel angels thesis is probably the most iconic anime opening ever (alongwith tank). Silhouette itself is pretty good (nothing less from kana boom) and the animation really fits well are nice as well. But if I had to choose I'd go with cruel angel's thesis. |
