A Silent Voice
| I haven't read the manga but I know the movie covers the whole story with a slightly different ending. As far as I know, the plots are mostly similar, but the movie cuts out a couple arcs and plotlines as it already runs for over 2 hours. People say if you liked the movie read the manga. |

| the movie covers the entire story, but rushes the beginning parts and skips some stuff in the middle point, the side characters are even worse than in the manga as result the movie is still a good option, but my personal recommendation is the manga just don’t let the MAL score make your expectations too high for either of them, especially the movie.. |
| I say go with the movie it's really good compared to the manga imo and the ending of the manga it's one of the worst i've seen. |
| I would say read the manga first and then watch the movie because the Movie is not as good but that doesnt mean its bad i just think the Movie lets out very important parts for the development of the side Characters (some only speak like 4 phrases,like Shoyas Childhood friends) Thats why manga first to better understand every CHarcter and than enjoy KyoAni at its best :) |
