Free! 2020 movie announcement

I'm so excited for another movie! I just can't get enough of my swim boys 😍 I hope we get an announcement for another full season though!

This is great, I'm really happy, I love the guys so much!!! When season 3 was finished and they announced that they would continue in 2020, I was already wishing for a movie for this summer. I guess dreams DO come true.

To be honest I didn't like season three much, it felt like it failed to make a good slice of life story among all the cute guys

I hope the movie is better

S3 just aired last year, so why the fuck are they doing a recap movie already?!
Lack of good ideas KyoAni? Go back to adapt LN and manga again!

Its a recap with new / extra scenes and a extra new Movie (Sequel) is coming.

FOR ANYONE WHO'S CONFUSED ABOUT THE MOVIE: This movie (Dive To The Future) is a recap movie with extra scenes but there is another movie also coming out in 2020 that is a sequel to Season 3!

Hmmm :) well this is a bit sad that we will first get movie Dive to the Future recap with extra shots anddd then in 2020 we will see new season, probably it will be a lot about olympics because there is Summer Olympics in Tokyo in 2020.

I'm a bit disappointed that the sequel of Dive to the future is a movie. I'd rather have an entire new season. But well, I'm sure the movie will be good so let's wait and see.

Season 3 was disappointing. I loved season 1 and season 2, I enjoyed watching Timeless Medley and Take Your Marks and I had high hopes for season 3. But the Ikuya - Hiyori drama ruined everything. I can't believe that more than half of thet show is centered on them. We were only introduced to the real competition at the end. Rin didn't appeared much...

Each year since the end of season 2 I was rewatching Free! but now because of season 3 I don't even want to rewatch it.
I'm also disappointed because the sequel is a movie and not a season 4.

Thanks KyoAni for ruining one of my favorite anime. I just wish they'll cut Ikuya and Hiyori from this recap movie.

I'm just gonna beg for a new season instead of a movie alone to end it all since some of you said, this is probably gonna be some of the last we see from the series.

I don't get how just one movie can make the cut? Which I highly doubt it can.

It just feels odd that after the season 3 ended with the start of a competition that I believe a lot of people have been waiting to see, ended like.. Like that.
It would make sense if there would just be a fourth season for all the missing stuff that we still need to see.

I've got my fingers crossed for the announcement of another season because in the past they've announced a movie and later in the year announced a full season... so hopefully that happens!

Meh... I liked Season 3 but it felt the weakest in my opinion. (And side note: I watched Dive to the Future before Eternal Summer because I'm just that dumb xD)
I'm gonna watch the movie, but I'm not all too excited.
I'm still waiting for what comes up in 2020 lol.
(Alsooo is there a reason why Hiyori always peeved me off or was I just salty when watching S3...? Haha)

Pretty cool trailer but a little disheartened that it'll be just a recap movie.

I hope they add some additional scenes with some great directing to make this a great standalone movie.
