- I think it was too damn late to create topic about PS2, but i'm very curious about USB port on PS2.... what was the function?
- does save date that i got on gamefaqs can be loaded on ps2?
- and how i can record a video when i playing games on ps2?

Even i've played ps2 since 2004... there're lot of function that i dont know about.
So, i hope everybody on mal can help.... although this isnt the right place to talk about this thing

You could do a handful of things with the USB ports.
You could plug in USB pen drives and save pictures from certain games (I did this on Gran Turismo 4 back in the days), or a camera specifically made for the PS2, supported by some games.

To transfer save files to your memory card, you have to install freemcboot on it (I don't remember the procedure to follow, Google search for further information).

To record your gameplay, you have to buy an external capture device.

To add, you can also access your memory card via pc by simply using a ps3 memory card adapter. You can also use this method(the easiest way) to install a freemcboot on it.
Really, you should install freemc if you want to get all the benefits you can get from those usb ports.
