| Absolutely giving it my vote for Anime of the Year and Best Director. Atsuko Ishizuka deserves recognition for creating this masterpiece. The animation for Yorimoi is beautiful and expressive but I have to give credit to where it’s due, and that’s to Violet Evergarden. Pretty sure it has the best animation award locked down. I love Hinata but I feel like the Best Girl nomination should’ve gone to Shirase. Now I have to think about choosing between Hinata and Anzu while Shirase would’ve gotten my vote easily. |
