It's definitely something vocal wise. I'm waiting for the inevitable new JoJo op to make a judgement of my favorite from this season.
What a beautiful Duwang

Didn't like it at all, but the ED is top tier. Sasuga Amazarashi.

Don't like the vocals, but the visuals are fine. The ED is great. One of the best this season.

We've been blessed honestly. This OP and Mob's are the pinnacle of OPs in months, fucking adore 'em both. Makes me glad to be an anime fan seeing this year start off with so many bombshells.

And that is... why?
I really hate this type of narrative. The author hints at some revelation... and just leaves it there. I, the observer, am left to wonder, what is before me - a complex storytelling unraveling with the passage of time, or an adolescent big mouth sending hot air into every direction... This mystery eludes me on each turn yet.

Because this op sounds like the one from SNK season 3 or like the one from tokyo ghoul and I don't like thoses type of songs where the singer has a high pitched voice(btw the visuals are good im only talking about the song here)

See, this is better. But you say YOU don't like that. There is a meaning why the Shingeki no Kyojin's third opening can't be used for a fascistic party gathering opening - there has to be some meaning in the Tokyo Ghouls... oh man why you make me remember. At least the SnK one had some merit - it made sense in the grand design of what SnK was trying to do that season. I will agree that PERSONALLY I also can't see the beauty in the song for this one opening. It fits the visuals, and visuals are superb. But if someone asked me to find meaning in this song? I'd rather not.

How can someone display this much garbage taste in a single post. I'm flabbergasted.

A wild art critique appears.
What does it taste like, tomatoes? Basil? If meat not interested.

Ech I found it really bad. I'd honestly rather have the original opening than that one if I had to choose. Thankfully the rest of the show isn't as bad as the opening, having both read the original manga, seen the original anime, played Blood Will Tell and seen the live action movie I was very hyped to see Dororo was getting a new anime run and I was happy about the introduction, then got a bit worried they were going to flop with the show when I heard the opening theme, but then they didn't.

So no, I definitely don't think this is the best opening theme, it is possibly one of the worst, but I am glad for the rest of the show existing.

Boogiepop has the best op of the season so far

Not gonna lie, the boogiepop opening is pretty underwhelming tbh. Mostly for a MITH&ROID song.

But hey I won't lie that the visuals are nice. And domestic kanojo's op is excellent (I love that singer so much).

I definitely think it’s the best of the season! And imo this is a pretty good season for OPs too so that’s saying something :O I’m kind of obsessed with this opening haha something about it just gets me so hyped!! (Takes all my strength not to belt out “I’M SO SERIOUSSSS” and “GIVE ME FIIIIIIRE” every time I hear it smh)

It’s interesting that it’s such a polarizing OP though, seems like people either really like it or think it’s horrible xD Even though I adore it I can kinda get why people wouldn’t like it. It is kind of all over the place and weird, so it makes sense that it’s not gonna do it for everyone lol

My list would be:

1. Domestic na Kanojo
2. Neverland
3. Dororo
4. Boogiepop
5. Kaguya

I like all of them very much, but I've had Domestic on repeat since the first episode aired.

Okay the things are actually worse than I initially thought. They did well with having the song for opening only 1:30 long, as the rest is just complete out of place for the setting (the full song I mean). I am willing to forgive them, of course.

I really like the Mob psycho ll opening or Dororo opening, but imo have an interesting way of presenting what the anime is about.

Are you kidding?
It's a serious and gory anime which is set in medieval Japan. Protagonist has no limbs and can't see or hear.
This easygoing "party is over, yeah baby, oh yeah" is utterly out of space

No, definitely not.

I find it horrible and extremely off topic.

Exactly what I think. Extremely off topic.

I find it unbelievable that so many people agree with OP.

I really love this season's OP, but I couldn't say which one is the best along the following :

- Dororo OP
- Dororo ED
- Boogiepop OP
- Boogiepop ED
- Yakusoku no Neverland OP
- Domestic na Kanojo OP
- Kaguya-sama OP
- Doukyonin wa Hiza OP

Neverland and Domestic OPs have both strong and beautiful vocals
Kaguya is super funky, which is rare for an OP, that's why I love it
Doukyonin OP is really enjoyable because light-hearted
Boogiepop OP and ED and Dororo OP have a really nice and recognizable beat
Dororo ED is beautiful and wakes up something in me

I couldn't decide which one is better, honestly
And then, God missed a step of his stairs

Ah yes. Not in your opinion I agree those are clearly the best ones with no room for error :)

I didn't like it at first, but now it's stuck in my mind. I love it. It's easily my favorite OP of the season, and probably top 10 of my all-time favorite OPs. Yakusoku no Neverland's OP is right up there too, though, hard to choose between those two.

i think it's definitely unique, but maybe not the best. i'm not watching many from this season, but i quite like the op to kaguya-sama and the promised neverland too, so i can't really choose just one

Hmm, I personally could never choose between the openings of these shows: domestic na kanojo, boogiepop, kaguya-sama, & of course dororo's... This season has a lot of good openings.
