| The comedy I laughed my ass the most was Asobi Asobase, so I suppose I prefer slapstick comedy? I also enjoy a lot more laidback comedy beats, like in Non Non Biyori (mainly Renge's remarks), Yuru Camp and K-On! |

| Something that is not Danshi... or Nichijou. I hated those. I loved Saiki Kusuo a lot, Bakuman and Barakamon. Also, Golden Kamuy even though it's not listed as a comedy, but the humour there is top-notch. |

| I get a kick out of humor from most ecchi anime like Golden Boy, definitely the gold standard for me. Prison School would most likely be a close second and I'm a fan of hilariously bad english dubbed Hentai. |

| I'm the type of guy that likes black comedy (the reason I love old-school Death Metal) and I take gallow's humor over conventional garbage comedy anime any day, so therefore! ecchi anime can go straight into the garbage. Blue comedy anime, known as hentai, are too predictable for my tastes. It's really sad that comedy anime are far too juvenile and boring these days. Japan has a lot to learn about gallow's humor as seen on Metalocalypse and The Boondocks, even South Park has darker humor than comedy anime so far. |
| One of the things that makes anime so distinct from western media is the comedy. It's one of the most striking things you notice when you start watching anime. Certainly for me, when I started watching anime at 30 after no exposure to it before other than Death Note, it was jarring. Strangely though, over time I actually started to like the Japanese style of humor a lot more. Asobi Asobase and Kaguya-sama are two of my favourites. I really liked Chio-chan's School Road last year too. And I like tabboo sexual humor. I think Eromanga Sensei is fantasticly daring in concept, it's just a shame most of the jokes were on the weak side. Great art though. Sagiri is too cute. |
