I really hope this is going to happen, but I’m pretty sure the whole story was finished by 50 or so episodes so I’m not too sure actually.

I'm happy now! I wasn't sure I would like this anime (almost dropped it after ep 3), but I fell in love with it. I was bummed to see a season 2 wasn't in the works, but now I'm super excited!!

A new season would be cool, however, I don't know what it would try to cover.
A couple of days ago I started reading the manga and after the first fight with Yuto, the anime has a completely different story. They'd have to scrap everything after the Yuto fight for the anime to make sense if they want to continue where they deviated from the manga.
I'd like for them to adapt the manga plot after that fight because the plot that follows gives their world and their characters a lot more depth and development than the anime ever did. At this point, the anime just feels like it's trying to tell a different story about a different world and with a different system.

A reboot of the series (following the manga) would definitely be the best option I think.

I know Twin Star Omnyouji will have a new season, I also watched it while airing (2016) and predicted it will have season 2 at the last episode (2017).

He just said that because he pulled a "super lucky" fortune for new years, he has a feeling that the anime would have another season, since he also was super lucky the last time he pulled a lucky fortune
It's just something he hopes for, nothing more

Its a complete series i dont see how they can continue from this point. All major villans are defeated they could add some filler character or someone from manga (didnt read the manga btw and i dont know if there is another antagonist) but that wouldn't be same. But let all hope that there will be second season.

The anime is completely different from the manga after Episode 20, Episode 21-50 are all non-canon, manga is still ongoing
