Synopsis sounds VERY similar to kekkai sensen

just reading through new announcements and this comes up. sounds almost identical to kekkai sensen, except the location and probably population, along with the main characters.

of course its going to be different compared to vampire hunting and stuff but the background is too similar to kekkai sensen imo

thoughts?

This sounds like a Kekkai Sensen inspired story but it's not comedy tagged. Could be trash or it could be amazing depending on the writing. Anybody here read the sauce material?

There are 12 people who have rated the LN on MAL. Hopefully one of them will come give some details. I'll still watch it because I enjoy Shoji Gatou's works.

Not expecting much, but it sounds it could at least be a above average anime at least, keeping my expectations low tough, also no I don't think it looks ridiculous, if she was a character using ranged attacks, sure but since she appears to be a swords women from a fantasy world it pretty much makes sense actually.

I expect nothing when watching first episode and turn out enjoying this. It's hidden gem of this season, better than kekkai sensen.
