As much as I love action, horror and everything in between, I can never turn down a good comedy!
Laughter is something we all share and enjoy collectively, and a good comedy will always lift up your spirit.
My personal favorite comedy movies are:
>Office Space
>Anchorman
>Anchorman 2
>Napoleon Dynamite
>Tenacious D
>Scary Movie 3
>Scary Movie 4

I am not good picking favs. I will just name some memorable ones not mentioned yet

Young Frankenstein is a classic.

Throw Mama from the Train is another classic. I only remember a few scenes from it since it's been a long time since I saw it.

Rubber is absolutely rediculous and slow as can be but pretty funny anyway if you have that kind of dark campy humour.

Shaun of the Dead is good

Kung Hu Hustle I recall being pretty funny. Mostly silly humour.

The Men Who Stare at Goats is funny because it's based on a true story. Not many out loud funny parts to it though.

I Love You Phillip Morris isn't funniest movie but it's amazing how this is a true story which I previously was aware of before the movie which is mostly why I enjoyed it and found it funny.

I agree, I can't recall laughing at a movie as much as Borat.

I think that's my favourite line and then obviously the hotel fight is 10/10

I love all comedy but Im gonna go and recommend you to watch French comedy:)
They have a really funny style comedy that I like from when I was a kid :))

If you are into the medieval themed stuff like me check out The Visitors movies (part one and two ),original name is:

Les visiteurs (1993) and Les couloirs du temps: Les visiteurs II (1998)

Also Le jaguar 1996 its a great action adventure comedy,a must see!

Also a spanish movie that was really fucked up funny,I havent seen anything quite like this haha its called Tres bodas de más (2013) or translated Three Many Weddings

And for the end a classic Dumb and Dumber the first movie! They tried to make the second movie funny but nothing can beat the first one!! :D

When I first saw that scene as a kid, I had to pause the film to control my laughter. Just rewatched the film recently and I still had the same reaction. Sacha Baron Cohen is the GOAT comedian.

Most of my favorite comedies are foreign flicks like Kung Fu Hustle and Three Idiots. I find most Hollywood comedies painfully unfunny.

This Is Spinal Tap is one of my favorite movies of any genre.

I haven't watched much of the Monty Python movies in years, but I watched them a lot in high school, especially Holy Grail. I also used to watch Cheech & Chong's movies a lot, back when they were always showing on Comedy Central.

I like most of John Waters' early movies, especially Female Trouble and Desperate Living.

Not much else comes to mind. There's some I like, but I don't know about favorites.

Killer Klows from Outer Space is actually pretty creepy even though it's comedic.

Gayniggers from outer space had only made me laugh once. The comedy is so bad in it. I think Kung Fury is better of a short film.

@Mila91 Well, I just had no idea. I must say I'm not too much into comedies myself anyway, so I'm not very knowledgeable about them ^^'

Do you like John Carpenter? Asking because Besson got sued for plagiarizing him allegedly draws heavy inspiration from him.

edit: Oh yeah, anything vaguely funny made by Carpenter counts as my fav comedies ever. Dark Star and Big Trouble in little China especially.

Reason why it is a good horror movie too.

It didn't really make me laugh as rarely movies do that to me, concept itself is amusing enough but there is some charm in it that I like. It came from the desert is similar to me, it isn't masterpiece but was fun time watching in theater despite average and cliche jokes.

Heathers is great. Killer Klowns is also great. IIRC, I first saw it on Sci-Fi in the late 90's, and it always stuck with me. It's a really lovable film. I don't go for "horror comedy" in most cases, but I have a great affection for KKFOS, which was itself my introduction to The Dickies.

I have to be fair to horror comedy by mentioning Return of the Living Dead. I really love that one, too. The sequels are largely garbage, but the original is great.

I can enjoy pretty much anything that doesn't have "Happy Madison", "National Lampoon's" or "stoner comedy" (Cheech & Chong notwithstanding) attached to it, though.
