| OMG. I remember when I talked to a friend, and I always complained about how Goblin Slayer was below my expectations ... But that ending was really beautiful, when he takes off his helmet, the OST fits perfectly and then everyone starts to see the side more human of the GS. Really beautiful, the end was worth it. |

| It doesn't have the most gripping storyline but I really appreciate what they did with what they have. Still don't know why this gets a lot of hate when there's nothing wrong with it. |

| The fight between Goblin Slayer is not as epic as it should've been, but nevertheless, the Goblin Lord has fallen. That creative use of protection spell was so simple yet so effective in that situation! Goblin Slayer wanted to be a real adventurer huh... That might open a path for him to defeat other beings besides goblins, such as I don't know... DRAGONS?! Dammit, why won't Goblin Slayer's face be fully revealed?! Well, there's probably many fan art of his face that may look accurate enough to satisfy my curiosity. Everyone' reaction to Goblin Slayer removing his helmet was hilarious! Especially that spear dude! The overall reaction from this after-battle-feast with fellow adventurers felt so cheerful and active, I love that! Goblin Slayer is quite surprisingly very enjoyable to watch. The story and characters are actually really plain, but its OST is quite nice and the animation is alright. Though I may not have read the manga, I am aware of the CHANGES and that's all completely White Fox's fault... Goblin Slayer will return... Hmmmn... It is quite rare to see a confirmed next season for any show... Well, okay! |

| Mostly standard fantasy action stuff, with some slightly darker tones to it. That's about what one should expect going into it though. An interesting part about the show for me is the fact that the usual task of saving the world is treated like an obvious side thing. "Yea of course the Hero defeats the Demon Lord and Saves The World! That's how it goes right?". That's what you get in your average fantasy JRPG. You don't tend to think about the NPCs all around "living" in that world. But those guys technically have some real shit to deal with and it's not always going to be about some big bad demon lord. |

| Well that sure was quite the lovely ending actually, quite an intense fight and good wrap up of what little this anime actually had to tell. The intensiveness in both action and realism in this still RPG like world was still quite interesting to see. Can understand completely the various controversies this anime had, but in general what bothered me the most was not the lack of story, but more of the swift switched between CGI and regular art. In the end I got a bit used to it but combine that with like one episode being real dark and the other being a very big breather just made it also a bit wonky in my opinion. Still pretty lovely watch and still a whole lot of room for expansion but not really needed in anyway either so a half open ending like this is quite lovely, but I still will look forwards to the sequel as they announced it in the epilogue. All in all I sure had a good watch! |

| I was disappointed they never showed his face there at the end, all that build up and then just kidding here have a half face view. Overall, this was a very solid darker fantasy series. Felt like they needed much more than 12 eps to make any more meaningful development. |

| It opened really good, but kinda plotted downward from there. I was expecting a lot more of a horror thriller after that first couple of episodes but it seems it just wasn't meant to be. I guess to put it another way, by the end of the show it felt like i was watching an MMO esque story like Grimgar or Sword Art rather than the Attack on Titan feeling i got from the start. Was also disappointed with the animation, they did not do themselves any favors with using CGI as they did. It's either gotta take some kind of laziness or horrible deadlines to draw in some scenes and CGI others. |

| It is beyond me to understand the criticism this shit's receiving... it's not particularly complex or deep but it does what it does exceedingly well. I'm probably tremendously overrating this, but I lost count of the number of times this show gave me goosebumps or brought tears to my eyes, and my feelings don't care about your facts conservatards. It was a breath of fresh air in anime's second most stale genre. |

| I enjoyed a majority of the show. I know some people only had their attention drawn because of the first goblin rape scene? So i didn't expect much in this thread. Overall he was a shy, shadow that knew what he wanted to do in the world. Everyone was out doing other various quest and he found it better to kill goblins because of his horrid childhood and i could't blame him for that. He faced a lot of tough enemies and actually got hurt more than i thought he would. Everything worked out in the end and even changed his perspective making him want to become an adventurer. Not a terrible series for me. I'd actually give the second season a chance if he focused more on GS as a person. |

| really enjoyed this was perfect imo i haven't read the manga or read the light novels but will check out the manga but yeah from the looks of thing at the end a season 2 is happening? im hoping but wow was that a good watch again am so glad i decided to wait for all the eps was out to star watching was well worth the wait |

| this was a pretty good episode. however,i HATED the fact that everyone but the viewer got to see Goblin Slayer's face :( guess Season 2 is basically confirmed then. pretty great news! :D |
| Finally got around to finishing this. Last few episodes weren't very exciting but enjoyed it overall, looking forward to season 2. |

| After reading some of the reviews I was a bit skeptical but after watching all 12 episodes I enjoyed this show. I like how the show doesn't focus on demon lord vs hero like other fantasy anime. Instead it's about the characters in background whom we usually tend to ignore. Still I wish the characters have actual names instead of race or classes for names. |
