| Most Evil Death Row Convicts Arc - COMPLETE Pretty good introduction to the New Grappler Baki series, a couple of really amazing fights with some of my favorite characters, but overall I thiiiiiink kinda dragged...? There were only 5 death row convicts, two got beat in the first like 13 episodes, then the last three got beat in ONE EPISODE and then after that it was set up for the next arc- - - WHAT?? I really kinda wish their defeats were a little more satisfying instead of them being tossed around like footballs for a good 15 episodes. By the time Doiyle and Sokorski were defeated they were beaten to a fucking pulp with no hope left, each of their arcs were spread across 5 different fights each. Idk, whatever Baki, Doppo, and Hanayama continue to be my favorite characters, each of them had some incredible moments in this arc. Looking forward to seeing Baki kick some ass in the Centennial Tournament, even though he's sick!??!?!?!? We'll fucking see!!  |
| The chinese tournament should be good, especially with Muhammad Ali's son, though Baki throwing blood like that is very worrying for what could happen later during the tournament :/ |
