Looking for GOOD romance/drama anime

I am looking for some good romance anime to dive into, I have watched all the popular romance anime out there and it is getting hard to find any at this point. People always suggest shows that end up having poor romance or little to no romance. I really want a show that focuses on romance and drama.

If you don't mind a rom-dram with plenty of comedy, I recommend
Maison Ikkoku: https://myanimelist.net/anime/1453/Maison_Ikkoku?q=maison

This one has more comedy than drama, but I would prefer to say it pulls its punches in regard to drama. The romance is the main attraction. I know the episode count is long, but trust me, it's well worth watching the whole thing. Be sure to check its review if you're still unsure.

P.S. Don't read past Paragraph 1 in the synopsis. It's highly spoilerish.
