| You should definitely read Fullmetal Alchemist and Pandora Hearts! Both are completed series that are very well written. Fullmetal Alchemist is about two brothers who lose their mom and try to bring her back with alchemy... but completely fail, causing one to lose an arm and a leg while the other loses his body. The story is about them trying to return to their normal bodies. Pandora Hearts is about a character named Oz who is about to have a ceremony where he will be recognized by the noble society... only for him to be dropped into an abyss! There he meets a girl named Alice, who says she can get him out of the abyss if they make a contract. They make a contract and return to the world and try to find her lost memories. I know this description probably was a little confusing, but totally check it out! I'm a beginner to manga too, but this one is currently my second favorite (first being Fullmetal Alchemist) One other manga I read that may be interesting to you is called Orange. It's a completed romantic sci-fi manga, and I see you've read some romance series, so yeah! Hope this all helps you! :) |
