Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side: Sword Oratoria (light novel)

Hey, I started watching Danmachi, and midway through the season I noticed I was watching Danmachi Sword Oratoria and not regular Danmachi, but after researching I think it's a standalone? What should I do?

Drop Danmachi Sword Oratoria and start watching the first season of Danmachi. The 2nd season + a movie will came soon btw.
+ Danmachi Sword Oratoria is completely unrelated to the story of the Principal series.

Put it on hold and go watch Danmachi first.

Danmachi Sword Oratoria tells the story from the perspective of Ais Wallenstein.
While Bell Cranel is the actual main from Danmachi.

Oratoria doesn't do much when you haven't seen Danmachi yet.
It will make way more sense after you've watched Danmachi.

Sword oratoria is a side story focusing on a different group of characters. It crosses path with the main series at times, but as far as the anime goes, it's much inferior to the main series. You can either not bother with it at all, or watch it after the main series if you really feel like you want more stories from that franchise.

It's not from the perspective of Aiz, but that annoying lesbian elf. If it was from the perspective of Aiz it would actually have a chance to be a decent show... (speaking of the anime, dunno about the LN)

Yeah sorry you are right, my mistake. But you see more from Aiz in that one, that's why I thought it was from her perspective.
