Last year, I would have said no and discarded this without a thought because I detested rap. Now, I've discovered that good rap does exist and when it's good, it's AWESOME (with my favourite use of it in anime so far being on Samurai Champloo), so if the rapping's good and it encourages more people to enjoy it, then yes. But if it's just crappy (like most popular rap seems to be unfortunately) then I'm against it. (Example of Samurai Champloo rapping below)
currently: doing my best!

I would like to see more rap implemented in a way that doesn't seem forced but I'm fine either way.

anime songs have as many words as raps already anyway

But they aren't anywhere near similar aside from being music.

Listen to Abstract-Neverlands then answer this question: Do you not like rap?

if you guys have some good rap clips, i would like to watch them. as for some of them are really well done, like the ones from Devilman: Crybaby and Zombieland Saga
i think creating a rap song has more difficulties, more verses, more bars to come up with. yeah, i really wish for some more rapping in animu

L8ke that sacchio rap in MegaloBox as it was great.

I'd like more shows with hip-hop soundtracks, Champloo being the obvious example.

...On that note, anyone got any recommendations?

Japanese raps in anime are better than any English raps I have seen, both Aggretsuko and Zombieland. I don't mind having more :D

I'm biased.

Rap is my favorite genre of music. Samurai Champloo is, in my opinion, one of the best anime ever made. And Killer Bee is my favorite shinobi in Naruto.

I do wish there were more aspects of rap culture that could make its way into anime. It seems like there's been some slow bleeding over for years now, but I want another anime like Samurai Champloo that is almost dazzlingly hip-hop in its aesthetic, style, and sound. I just think its an interesting element to see portrayed in anime (and anime does it so comically too).

I think MegaloBox is a similar anime to Samura champloo and it's also great in it's own way.

I am not a huge fan of rap (or hip-hop) music in general. In fact, I get really turned off by it, especially modern ones. I only likes the ones that are kinda meme-worthy.
Although, the idea of having rap in at least a few anime can make the music stand out from others. Samurai Champloo, Gurren Lagann and K Project are some anime that have rap in their OSTs so the idea is not new.
Also, I've never seen Zombieland Saga (yet), but I have seen the rap scene. And its bloody brilliant, I mean, moe girls rapping is not something you see everyday.

Doesn't seem anyone's mentioned it yet but Infinite Ryvius seems to suggest some rap-/hip-hop-like vibes even though its theme songs aren't rap.

Music should fit with the anime and most of the time rap doesn't fit although I guess some rap could fit in ecchi anime considering the lyrical content of rap

Frankly, i would take even less rap in anime and there is hardly any as it.

my mind falls to remembering the terrible rap parts in Megalo Box that just waste time and rap about the plot and the moments we just just witnessed
