G-Reco yuck.

Hathaway's Flash will be nice and with 3 parts, the novel should be completely adapted or close to it.

I should stsrt watching UC Gundam already.
And 00 stageplay? I'm doing some mental gymnastics thinking about they can do a stageplay of a war mecha anime. I'd rather watch some cute boys doing cute things version of 00.

These illustrations are beautiful. Setsuna giving Mika the ELS flower, that shit's tearing me up, man.

Hathaway's Flash was to be expected. I unironically love G-Reco, so I am looking forward to experience it again. Though I am kinda worried, that Tomino will pull a Zeta New Translation on us. Only seen a bit of SD Gundam, the old ones were genuinely funny parodies of the three main UC entries while the modern ones such as SD Gundam Force were generic battle shounen with atrocious CG animation. This new entry is obviously the latter, but I might still be checking it out, since I like these kinda shows and CGI has come a long way since then.

Really excited for more Build stuff. Here I am hoping that we will get a second season to Build Divers. I need more Nanami and Ayame in my life! Please, just don't do another TRY.

On that note, more news for what's up with the new Gundam IBO Project will be revealed in January. Maybe a new show, OVA or movie, dunno. Though IBO's director and main creative force Tatsuyuki Nagai is stuck on doing more Railgun, so that makes me think, that it might be something else like another manga or novel. We'll see.

I think you misread something. They talked about stageplay and concert for 00, but no mention of a crossover.

But except Hathaway's Flash, it's really underwhelming. Sequel to a bad side series, a new SD show (good for the fans, but not really what I'm waiting), and two recuts of old series (movie in serie and serie in movie). Not really what I expected for the 40 years.

oh...fuck

Happy they're still dedicated to releasing UC content. I get this frustrates some people, but it's kind of like a band you love releasing new albums of songs that are their new sound, and 'how they sounded before they went mainstream'.

I've heard the first 20 minutes of NT was decent, so that's nice. And a G Reco recap is appreciated, since I can't finish it to save my life.

Biggest thing to understand is that not all series fall into the same timeline. Many of them are set in alternate universes. So it might be a good idea to do a little research before jumping into a series. For the most part, any given series will fall into one of two categories: Universal Century (UC), and everything else.

IBO is pretty alright. Most people use 08th MS Team as their entry point into the UC timeline. But, tbh, most every Gundam series has die-hard fans. So it's hard to go wrong. It seems to usually depend on when your favorite era of anime is and how tight your nostalgia glasses are strapped on. Seed is always a good bet. A lot of people love 00. G no Reconguista is hard to digest, being a Tomino work, so maybe steer clear. The original series, Mobile Suit Gundam, is hard to put down once you're into it.
