Very meh episode.

First half literally bored me with the character interactions. That creature they befriended is also starting to get annoying with its childish behavior. Honestly, I feel like they could of easily condensed this episode to be shorter.

Oh well. Didn't expect too much from it.

Don't see how it's regular when it just turned the whole arc on its head.

Well I definitely wasn't expecting that Onoki plot twist.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

Yeah, I guess he hasn't changed. He's still a stubborn old man

Damn they better not do the OGs dirty like that.

Boruto trusted him.

That was really boring. The plot twist at the end was nice though.

Although I know this anime enough to know that Oonoki is probably not a baddy, and we are going to get some sort of explanation. If Oonoki really is bad, then I'll be really surprised.

The Oonoki twist was a fantastic way to completely change everything about this arc up to this point and add a layer of depth that was desperately missing. It feels nice that this series can do something daring like that with an established hero from Naruto Shippuden as well and not be restricted doing so.

As always since ep 70 (or 50? even 30? nvm I can't remember the last time i've seen a good ep) a trash and boring episode.

But I don't think Ohnoki is bad though, there is got to be some explanation I hope. I mean the guy is got to be a million years old to be doing a villain ish.

I see also Inojin has named the Akuta, but more like it chose it. Akkun is not a bad name though.

My highlight was the growling of Cho-cho's stomach, that sure got them attention but also helped them at the same time.

An okay episode,

This is normal pacing of shonen, and we actually got character interaction when characters feel so flat in this show..

Idk why people keep complaining when this is even faster than some regular episodes.

I'm not complaining about the pacing, but personally I felt like the first half was nothing too special. Also the character interactions at this point is really boring me.
Story: go to rock village>get food>get info>meet person who's willing to help>go to old man ohnoki's place.

I have to ask that, if it is boring for you, why you still watch? while you can drop?

Well gotta put this out here... I really like the OP and ED haha. But damm, that foo Ohnoki tho?? “Die as a hero or live long enough to see yourself as a villain.” This quote could be true for him but idk man somethings not right here. Theres gonna be some plot twist where everything is gonna be friends in end?? Its always like that

Preparing for the worst is always a good step on the field. The situation in the hidden stone though sure is escalating though it is good that Konohamaru is on his way to help. It was cute seeing Inojin bond with the akuta. Lol Chocho's stomach sure got the team unintended attention. It was amusing seeing the team try to act normal in the eyes of the diner owner. Still its nice to meet someone who appreciated the effects of Ohnoki in the war. Nice to see within the village that there are still loyalists in the form of Akatsuchi who are trying to figure out whats going on. That ending though sure was surprising.
