| At the risk of being a basic bitch, tsundere. They're incredibly easy to get wrong, but when done right (Asuka, Taiga, Senjougahara, UBW Rin, arguably Winry Rockbell), no archetype is as consistently entertaining and emotionally resonant. |

| Tsundere can be cute if it's not overused/overacted and is used as an actual personality trait instead of just for gag or gimmick or just because. Yandere is the safest favorite because even the shallowest can still pretty entertaining to watch. Dandere is cute. Kuudere is cute. I guess my fav would be kuudere. |

| If I must choose from one of the deres then I'll go with kuudere, they are cold on the outside and not very good at expressing themselves but actually care on the inside, I just find them more relatable and interesting plus unlike tsunderes they won't beat the shit out of their love interest. Also yanderes (more like yangire) are pretty entertaining when I'm in the mood for some blood and gore but they are a terrible choice when looking for romance and I don't like male yanderes. |

| We talking real life or talking just anime? In it's anime, then I'd like a character with a relatively flat voice which only seems to be a specific to kuudere characters. As for real life, as much as I like a lot of kuudere and dandere characters, I actually don't think how they initially react to you when they realise the like you is all that important. Their -dere type and even their looks might get you to notice them in the first place (which is very important no doubt), but that won't necessarily keep you together. In the end, what's important is when you move past the walls they put up around themselves and get to know how they treat you once you get together. | Off all the 'dere's', I would go for kuundere's, since you can kinda assign the traits to myself aswell. I can be cold at times, but I also can be an adorable cinnamon bun that's too pure for this world. |

| kuudere/dandere.. they are cute for some reason and less annoying than most of violent-tsundere, for rl since they aren't truly exist so i choosing what close to it, like quite or introvert type of person, i like them because most of the time these type i've met were kept things for themselves or being straightforward and talks to me in person i like honest person, and it's good rather than talking peoples on their backs, because it's just show how moronic they are, also imo they are good listener, and good thinker, somehow. and yet i've to admit less violent tsundere is kinda cute |

| No one Dere is the best since you have to judge the character itself of whatever Dere they are and if its integrated well with their overall character and not say which is best purely based off which Dere but based off personal bias in terms of self selection its Tsundere and Yanderes that are on top of the poll also smh at all you who use Taiga in this thread as an example for picking tsundere  |
