Jojo signature? Are you reading this cuz of Araki praising it & saying it was a huge influence on Stardust Crusaders too? I'm reading volume 1 and liking it; the protagonist's three guardians feel like a mix of Jojo stands and Pokemon-type familiars, yet from 1971. I also like the idea of a young kid being given terrifying power that he can choose to use for either good or evil - pre-Mazinger too, by one year, and the protagonist being significantly younger makes it even more interesting.

The Yokoyama manga I REALLY want to read is Tetsujin 28/Gigantor, and I don't really care about his historical works, but as it will likely never be translated to a language I can read, this is a good enough intro to his work. Mars too, probably - people saying the ending sucks interests me since I tend to love "terrible" endings.
