| As a musician, this was a fun episode to watch. Pingu and his friends didn't fair too well with professional instruments, because they had no lessons, but they managed to output a decent enough sound with the rudimentary instruments that they whipped up. |

| This episode was a total mess, something about music shows/episode is just so hard to nail. You can clearly see a few eggs dropping to the ground from a high place, and yet, they didn't crack, it's either something they overlooked or the ice-y land they reside in is just that cold. |

I'm really glad it ended up like this. Instruments often require a lot of practice to get accustomed to, and while they could have decided to just let Pingu and his friends have "innate talent" we get this much more down-to-earth scenario instead. It gives a much more likely picture of what happens when picking up an instrument while also sending a message that with practice and support you can improve your musical abilities. Such a pleasingly wholesome episode. |
