| I think the fear of Nana Ozaki being a criminal and the shock of meeting Yasu would have been funnier if we didn't actually know their backstories already, but I think this works out too. Knowing ahead of time removes the tension, but I guess that's dramatic irony at work. Also, this being a Madhouse anime, I wanted to initially compare NANA to either Cardcaptor Sakura or Kobato in its use of colors, lighting, and character designs. However, upon reflection, NANA also shares a trait of having a huge amount of wardrobes. That's a lot of effort, holy crap. |
