| Had a bit of a shower thought: there was an anime last season that was so terrible (for those of you who don't know, it was called Shitcom) it reached a score so terrible it came close to the bottom of the rating scale. Besides that anime, what is the worst anime from 2018 so far that you have watched? Thankfully, I haven't watched too much this year and all of it was good so I couldn't call any of it bad, but I'm a curious person so this question must be asked. |

| Out of the 20 I've seen that have finished in 2018, Darling in the FranXX. It's just...so broken on so many levels that it's downright baffling. |

| Everything from my dropped list + FranXX, Citrus and Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto dakedo Imouto ja Nai. Biggest disappointment of 2018: Kokkoku- beginning was amazing, story too, but the end of the anime was a big disappointment. |

| Would be a tie between Lord of Vermillion and Basilisk 2. Both were awful, but I think Basilisk would win, since Lord of Vermilion at least was funny (for all the wrong reasons) at times and didn't ruined any good original project like Basilisk 2 did. If we include movies/OVAs, then the final entry of Digimon tri would be another close contender for the title. Malevolent-Fae said: This. | Looking at the other user's replies, it looks like I've dodged quite a few bullets this year. Isekai Maou was the worst for me so far. Started out surprisingly well, but fucked itself halfway through and even took a huge dump at the end. What a fucking mess. |

| Based in what I've seen: Satsuriku no Tenshi, Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria, Aguu: Tensai Ningyou, Dorei-ku The Animation, Darling in the FranXX, Märchen Mädchen. And in this season Tokyo Ghoul:re 2nd Season is quite disappointing. |

| The worst series I completed would be Ito Junji: Collection, which tbh wasn't that bad but suffered mostly from having a really flat direction style. If we can count dropped series then it would have to be Citrus. |
| Not counting side story OVAs or separate recap entries, it's between Basilisk and Beatless. But I didn't hate Beatless as much until I had to watch 4 recaps in a 2-cour series (and its recap is separated), so Basilisk wins. |

| Franxx, Fate/Extra: Last Encore, Ito Junji: Collection, Marchen Madchen, Basilisk: Ouka Ninpouchou (why was this even created... shame to the original Basilisk), Shichisei no Subaru, Master of Ragnarok, Island, Lord of Cancer (i mean, Lord of Vermillion), Ongaku Shoujo. So far, for me these are pretty much bottom of the barrel.. still have plenty of 2018 anime to watch. Also, Tokyo Ghoul:re 2nd Season is in the way to be the trashiest one of Fall 2018. |

| Caligula and Tachibanakan Triangle (Even though I like the ending song a lot) definitely come to mind. They were rough to get through. And only 2 episodes in, but Conception is right up there too. It's painful. |

| By the answers I am assuming not too many people suffered through Alice or Alice. This was the most agonizing experience I've had this year by far. Don't let the short length fool you, there's enough cringe to fill a truckload in every episode. |

| From the ones I've watched that would be Mahou Shoujo Site. Each episode was insufferable. Not to mention that the first episode was terrible. If the idea was to make the audience feel bad for the main character, it didn't work at all. The amount of bully she got in one single ep. was so much it was completely absurd. |

| Lord of Vermilion is currently sitting at the very bottom for me this year, and I doubt anything will "bottom" it anytime soon. I regret not seeing Franxx though. With so many people mentioning it, it must be one heck of a masterpiece. |
