Maybe, they just can't remember their past. They may still have the ability or skill as before.

I mean, they still remember that Saga is a prefecture in Japan, and she still remembers watching zombie movies, so its more likely they've forgotten specific life details rather than skills and general knowledge

Memorization with doing stuff like playing instruments, speaking, etc. is different than memorization with stuff like memories.
