So that's the opening strange.

The episode continued to explore the behavior of the zombie girls and I have to admit, some of their reactions were god damn priceless especially during moments of shock. One thing I find amusing is the amount of humor in the show. Saki is also quickly becoming my favorite girl in this series.

It seems self aware and plays around with its character personalities. They're really pushing the main leads to become superstars. Lol, the rap battle.

The character animation in that rap battle was really damn good. There's a ton of love going into this show so far that I hope it can keep up.

Overall directing of most of the scenes feels a bit lackluster....with a lot of tonal issues and jokes/"funny" moments not landing for me
...the rap was nice I guess..can't wait for the OST
Starting to feel I've already seen it all with this one...hopefully the next episode will be better...generally enjoyed ep 1

Oh.. The OP's on point...especially the visuals

This series seems to be a fun watch.

Better than the previous episode I guess?

The rap tho, hilarious and the OP is really good

I do not think this is a show in which you take it seriously, it seems to be like an idol parody.

Miyano Mamoru is not holding back at all in this and I absolutely love it 10/10 performance

Also, sickest rap battle of 2k18, and Saki easily best girl

haa, i'm super ill! on the outside, i might look crazy healthy, but the truth is i'm a late teenager with a heart of glass! filled with the desire to give up on school! that's me, riamu-chan!! if i become an idol, it'd be my chance to do that!? right!?

OMG the rap battle just took this episode to shreds, in a good fashion.

Never managed such a ridiculously panned idol show TO BE THIS GOOD. Instant like!

Tae-chan's zombie head being smashed was some serious shit going on...

This continues to be so good it's not funny. Baring sequel animes, this is easily my favourite show of the season so far.

The girls are likeable so far, even the little girl is nice (I expected her to be kind of a brat, but so far she has behaving well, and took her revival surprisingly well too). The rap battle between Sakura and Saki at shamisen rhythm took me by surprise, but was amazing (even the visuals were good).

It seems the role of the policeman is to freak out anytime he finds the girls, and I'm loving it. I hope those two metalheads also become recurring characters (they seems to be in the path of becoming the first fans of the zombie idols).
Also, Mamoru Miyano is killing it in this show. His performance is simply fantastic. He's even hammier than when he voices Okabe's chuuni parts in Steins;Gate, and that's saying something. The scene of the rap battle when he starts beatboxing killed me.

Props to the old man, being able to handle (literally) THE LEGENDARY YAMADA TAE!

Oh, the opening is pure fire.

I fucking loved EP2, it was great seeing nearly all the main characters rewaken accept Yamada Tae ofc. The rap battle between Sakura and Saki was fucking LIT AF, Sakura showed Saki she's got fucking guts, The humor in EP2 was beyond amazing and I laughed so much during the funny moments. It was also hilarious seeing Tae's head being smashed on and off her head by Saki and Sakura was great comedy haha, Overall EP2 was a fucking blast and I'm excited for EP3, this show is surprising so much so far and I hope it continues to do that! Also if you're interested feel free to check out the Zombieland Saga subreddit and the discord server if you want to discuss more about the show indepth!

I was wondering when the 'hip hop' part from the episode title would play a factor. It didn't disappoint.

Also, I hope the cop shows up every episode to get freaked out by the zombie girls. He's hilarious lol.
I'm no special story or anything. I'm just a manga that wants to be read, like you could find anywhere. But, if, for argument's sake, you were to adapt me into an anime series, it would certainly be....a tragedy.

the OP is so colorful damn it looks very good. and the Idol trainer is so enthusiastic, his voice is so fitting.

and i can’t decided yet, but i like all the girl, especially Yuugiri, that shōwa era girl, and that legendary Yamada Tae

and i hope next episode they will keep changing genre, because that would be very nice, 12 episode changing genre each time.

damn, i dont know it will be like this but it be like that.

I loooved this episode omg, producer-san is amazing and the dog though jesus, gimme

The girl who does the slavic pose slayed the rap battle and it was really unexpected even if I knew this episode would be about hip hop/rap.

When Tae's head fell off and how they started fighting over it and then it turned into a full on rap battle gave me life, producer-san also seemed really satisfied at the end which was awesome. I'm excited for more of this! I honestly had no expectations for this show but so far so good and it's really funny

I loved the rap battle a little too much...
I'm assuming each episode will be some sort of unexpected genre of music that an idol group would never do.

This show is CRAZY! It made me laughing nonstop since the gig began. My god, the first episode was already hilarious but the second episode has far exceeded my expectation!

The VA is just marvellous. I bet I would've loved this episode even more if I had been better at japanese.
Apart from the girls, the manager's VA was very funny with his accent too.
And the cop who just suddenly rapped along with the youngsters... gold.

Definitely the dark horse of the season.

Love Live? Idolmaster? BITCH PLEASE, ZOMBIELAND SAGA is the best Idol anime hands down.
If you find yourself disagreeing, please, don't do the following:

1. Call out on some superiority complex.
2. Rely on "If you don't like then don't watch it" in an attempt to defend your statements
3. Resorting to insults.

We got the best idol anime right here.

I thought Tae might regain her memories after having her head hit that hard. Maybe she's just permanently a zombie.

Also the OP is cool. Watched it a few times.

The OP is pretty awesome. The animation style looks very familiar but I can't pinpoint what.

This was an amazing episode. I wonder if they're going to have a variety of genres for their character songs. In a show with this many girls, there's usually one I dislike but so far, I'm actually quite liking them all. Mamoru's also really going all out with his character.

According to various studies and very thorough research, being able to take off your head will prove useful for certain activities.

Looks like we're getting some CGI dancing next episode though.

Damn, I'm enjoying this a lot. I really just expected a show about zombie idols but I never expected this show to deliver so much "stupid fun" but man this right here is the anime I've so far enjoyed the most this season.

That's a shame but bound to happen. I'm hoping this will remain the least Idol-like Idol anime though. Hoping the CG won't look terrible.

Sakura's narration of the previous episode made me laugh a lot.
Producer Koutaro is still weird and suspicious, he presents himself as "mysterious producer", but it's very ridiculous, I love his interaction with the girls, that ridiculous and mocking tone he uses to talk to them, especially with Sakura. Koutaro's example of "what will happen if they discover they are zombies" was funny.
the police officer of the first episode appears again and reacts in the same way, I hope he keep appearing and continue to make scenes where he get scared and lose control.
Koutaro's skill with makeup is incredible, the girls look beautiful.
The battle of Rap was epic, the way in which Yuugiri and Lily follow the flow while Sakura and Saki clash, then Sakura unloads against Junko and Ai, but still throws herself and tells a couple of truths to the audience, Sakura has talent for rap and death metal, most likely to continue learning new styles of music.
The next episode will be about school idols (at least the CG and the title "death or live saga" betrays the possible theme that zombie girls will face)
