| this episode was phenomenal!! the animation has never looked this good in the anime before everything, from Katakuri's beautiful doughnut song to Luffy's Gear Four attack looked amazing and very well directed I said that this was going to be one of the best episodes of the year and I was right I also love the new opening, lots of foreshadowed events! |

Katakuri lost his cool when other people saw his mouth. He got really pissed off and killed those helpless patisseries! Afterwards, he was fuming when he was attacking Luffy, but Luffy finally landed a blow on Katakuri at last! | New OP is alright but the previous was better though. Never see that man eat, Damn! Was he flipped. Katakuri is one awesome character in one piece so far, his armament haki is really strong to make Luffy blow his hands. This is the first time Luffy has landed a hit, I guess because Katakuri is not in his sense right now because he's engulfed by rage of being seen eating. Poor chefs though. The animation was very good. |

Having seen the manga chapter I wasn't sure how this would go, but they knocked it out of the park. I was perfectly fine with them adding more "doughnuts" time because it meant so much singing. | Cannot like this OP at all. Reused animation, boring song and even felt even longer with obvious padding like Monster Form Chopper vs Big Mom which reminds me the Luffy vs Kaido crap from two years ago. Second OP I will be skipping in the row. Putting aside that, the episode was amazing with top-tier animation. Sugita's doughnut song had me rofl. Luffy after Katakuri's secret was exposed took the upper hand of this fight since the latter lost his concentration. |

| For the last few years I've only watched One Piece while speeding the video up to 2x or 4x speed, because it's so extremely slow-paced that on 2x speed you don't realize that it's sped up. Recently it's been worth watching the show with normal speed. It's nice to see that they added a few elements to the fight so it's not a slow-paced fight. I read the manga, but tbh I forgot why Luffy managed to land a hit. I think Katakuri can only use one of his two amplified haki abilities at once, or he's just mad. Also Luffy is improving himself, I'm sure of that. The OP song is okayish, I guess? I definitely loved the openings much much more in the first half of the series. Still, it's okay. I see they put some spoilers/foreshadowing into the OP again. I thought they wouldn't change the opening until the end of this arc. At least we won't begin the next arc with a new opening that's full of spoilers while not knowing anything about the arc itself. |

| Good episode but this opening is very mediocre and most notably in the animation parts. Something that I didn't notice in the manga chapter when it came out, but how did those chefs manage to get inside the Mirroworld and with a food cart no less, did Brûlée let them inside? I liked they used that Big Mom's theme song for the Merienda scene, he truly is her son. Also Luffy likely regained some energy from all the mochi he ate to get out, so that Luffy still managing to tank hits from Katakuri isn't that hard to take. |
| ok this episode was lit. consistent high quality animation through out the episode. Damn Katakuri is mad as fuck that he got caught eating. Luffy finally figured out Katakuri's ability and weakness? Interesting. Imagine if this type of quality would be in every episode. |

| So first of all we got a new OP which was okay. I definitely liked the last one more even if I'm absolutely hyped for everything I saw in the new one (transformations). For me this was also the best episode of this arc so far. I mean who besides the people who read manga had thought that Katakuri would be like this during he eats his doughnuts. Tomokazu Sugita made this so perfect omg. :D But damn Katakuri killed these cooks instantly. And his Busoushoku is strong as hell. I wonder what exactly Luffy found out about Katakuris abilities. I have an idea but I'm not sure if I'm right about it. He reacted way different at the end and Katakuri wasn't able to land a hit. And now with Luffy in Gear 4 this fight will be even better. Oh man I can't wait for the next episodes. I'm so hyped to see more. |

| First off, I don't like the new opening, I miss we are hope so much already. And also big Luffy spoiler in the new opening. Second and most importantly....doooooooooooooooughnuts! Lovely delicious DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUGNUTS!!! Oh my god that was hilarious. |

| One got to love Katakuri when he is eating. He is so cute and funny with so big teeth. LOL. No wonder he doesn't want anyone to watch him eat. hahaha. He would have been a laughing stock. I guess the table have turned for him. It's hard to not get any damage from King Gun attack. New opening looks cool though I don't feel much about the song. It has been a long time for me were I have seen a good and catchy opening song. The this and the previous one wasn't much to brag about imo. At the same time, it was nice to see a new opening. The old one had reach it limit. Usually they doesn't change OP before 50-60 ep. from OP start. I bet we won't see a new opening before late 2019. ^^ Always cool to see Pudding. She so sweet and even more cute when she jelaous. haha |

| The story continues with Katakuri's tea time, and as a strange ritual, he builds his own place to eat and proceeds to it. Luffy gets out of his prision and attacks Katakuri's place, destroying it and exposing him; unleasing Katakuri's rampage, who kills the chefs first and attack Luffy with tremendous brutality. But as the fight goes on, there's something that tells Luffy that he can win, a secret that we haven't seen, and fighting style that we don't understand. Excellent animation, there have been so much episodes since I saw an animation like that, light, movements and edition were supreme. There is an improvement in Luffy's character that even when we don't realize what's happening, he's getting stronger and smarter. By the way, does Katakuri have like 10 rectus abdominis muscles? |
