DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Seems really cool, to meet all sorts of people the way Takemoto is doing it =P I wonder how for how long he will work with those guys (probably until the last episode?). And I was actually expecting Yamada to confront (not sure if it's the correct word) Rika, and ask her if she actually loves Mayama. |

| Maybe I just don't appreciate pottery, but what's special about Yamada's works? They look so plain, no artistic flair...just simple bowls with no design. |

| Wow the Ayu and Rika moment made me really anxious. I also thought that she was going to ask her if Rika takes seriously Mayama. Nomiya blushing is so cute ^^ I also think it must be cool to meet all those places and people like Takemoto is doing :D |

| Nomiya is slowly starting to warm up to me, he still has a way to go before I accept him with Yamada if that's happening. And meeting Rika was suspenseful, again I always related to my experience and seeing it made me extremely anxious. She handled it well, I'm proud. |

| And so, in the final run of episodes, the series has finally regained the magic of the first few eps. I was worried for a while that it wouldn't be able to recapture it again, but now it's back with a vengence. I'm not even that precisely sure why it feels that way..maybe because it has basically dropped most of the comic relief and weird pairings (Morita x Yamada? No thanks) and gone back to just being a great show about life and it's various pitfalls and crossroads. Thanks JC Staff :-D |

| Traveling to a lot of places and meet different people is surely fascinating. Hope it'll bear something great for Takemoto. Yamada actually talked to Rika calmly. I'm much more curious if Mayama was also there. |

| Takemoto is finding clues just as sensei hoped. Iโm sure heโll learn more with the job he just got. His bike chain snapping turned out to be a good thing. Hagu is starting to feel the pressure again from her teachers. Society expects a lot out of you, without any regard for your own wishes. I liked the explanation sensei gave โ โWhatโs important is that no matter what path you choose, you donโt make an excuse out of itโ. Ayu finally met Rika! I think she knows that Rika is a good person and can see why Mayama likes her. Her fixing the heel without any spite was a nice thing to see and says a lot about Ayu. |

| This journey is really beautiful. And having a song from Spitz that was released long before the anime was even out really adds in into the atmosphere and that feeling of nostalgia. With most of the characters being SO relatable, This is definitely going into the top of my list. |
| Yamada's interactions with Rika were interesting. She handled the situation well. Someone like Yamada would be a catch irl; looks aside, there aren't many people who are so genuine, loyal, and kindhearted. So Takemoto is working now... |

| Ironic how each episode seems to draw me in more and more now that the first season is almost over. I thought I wouldn't enjoy the shift back to Takemoto as much as I have Mayama/Ayu, but it's turning out to be the most relatable. I'm glad they didn't focus on a love triangle between Morita/Hagu/Takemoto and instead are delving into Takemoto's coming of age crisis. I have to admit I'm a little envious of Takemoto. There was a time in my life when a journey like that would have been the perfect chance for my self-realization. On and off I still fantasize about traveling one day. He now has work and even if it's tough and cheap, it's honest and will be good character building since it seems he's surrounded by some good guys. It reminds me of Clannad a bit. |

| takemoto’s story really resonates with me.....i have always been feeling lost even after i graduated, even now i’m still unsure of what i really want to do, have been at my job for almost 5 years now & am going to quit in the middle of next year, hopefully the COVID situation is way better by then & we can safely travel again, i would love to go on a solo trip like his...... he is a really well-written character, one of my favourites ever. i love him so much :’( feels so bad for yamada once again. that was awful having to see her spend time with rika & her saying how she was glad mayama wasn’t there so she didn’t have to see him by her side. so heartwrenching!! โน |

| Well Takamoto been travelling for a hell of a lot longer than I expected, 7 days as of the start of this episode, 11 by the end of it, that a solid period of time for a very unplanned trip. His bit where he talks about having bike all the way to a tourist spot that most people would have catch the train to makes complete sense to me, there is always that extra bit of satisfaction in having to work a bit harder to reach somewhere. The temple restoration crew also looks to be what he needs, the Shrines and Temples in Japan really are impressive (at least for me from when I visited Japan) and if you were into architecture which i'm 90% sure Takamoto said he was studying previously be even more inspiring. I’d say that he will probably spend next episode working and being inspired by the craftsmanship of those before him which will finally give him an idea on what he really wants to do. Hagu was very interesting, while I feel her vision of the future is far to small for what she can do, it doesn’t mean that she has to travel to Italy (I think it was) to go to a fancy arts school, I feel like she needs to find more of a middle path so she can utilize her talent more but not be pushed to far outside her comfort zone. Yamada is still have a very hard time, Nomiya going away for 6 months is almost a good thing if they ever actually attempt to date, and her meeting Rika was very interesting. I don’t really know what to make of their meeting but it's probably going to be a good thing for Yamada in the long run. Anyone that enough for today, not long left of this season I guess the final episode will be Takamoto being reunited with everyone else, but outside of this very much still a wait and see. |

| What an epic journey Takemoto partook! I thought he'd just continue to sulk for the rest of the story - or maybe for life... Amazing developments. Even for just that, it was worth sticking to this story! :) |

| I thought I was coming to the end of the series, only to discover there are another 12 episodes (HoneyClo II) after this. So I actually have 14 episodes to go... Well...I will never complain about spending more time with my beloved Yamada Ayumi. And dear Miwako, Teshigawara Miwako, every moment with you is a joy. Please continue to help bring Nomiya and Yamada together. Fight on, Team Yamada! |
