For example
Hunter x Hunter, Kiss x sis, High School DxD, etc. etc.

I usually don't but then people get confused on what I'm talking about lmao.

I pronounce the X, that's all. I ignore everything else but the X.

Imagine just talking with your friends and you be like:

    "Have you seen Hunter Hunter?"
    "I love Kiss Sis"
"My favourite anime is High School Double D's"

You'd sound like a creep lmao.

Of cuorse.
Some people name Hunter Hunter only but honestly it doesn't fit to good.

With the X the full name sounds way better.

The writers meant for it to be silent tho.

Director? You mean the Creator? He should have mentioned why the X is there and if it must be pronounced or no.

The X is mainly silent ergo I don't speak it, otherwise, would it be peculiar.

It's dependent on the series, I used to call HunterXHunter as "Han-ter-Eks-Han-ter", now it's without the "Eks", and I sometimes called KissXSis, only Kiss Sis, though, I always call DxD, DxD.

I almost always pronounce it except for Hunter x Hunter. When I speak with someone who has seen the show I say Hunter Hunter but if not then I pronounce the X.
Go read the One Punch Man manga please, this awful adaptation by JC Staff is a disgrace.

If the author wants me to pronounce the X I do, easy.
In Hunter x Hunter and Kiss x Sis the authors decided the 'X' was not meant to be pronounced.

I just say "Hunter Hunter"... I mean, in my native language is VERY weird speak the "x"... I never saw anyone of my friends speak the "x".

"Kiss x Sis" I just keep in my mind, never said this name with my "mouth", it's the kind of anime that I watch and prefer to keep with me till my death... No one needs to know that I watched it.

When the old hunter x hunter was being aired in my country the narrator used to say "cazador x" (hunter x) instead of the whole thing, it was a bit weird lol.

I do use the "x" when I have to.

Depends.
Hunter x Hunter = A Hunter of Hunters
Makes sense.

Superhyper 69 imouto anime X = non-sense with an x glued into it, so pronounce it.

If you know you're not supposed to, why would you? I really don't get that. At that point, you're just making yourself seem ignorant

Kiss Ecks Sis, High School Dee Ecks Dee, etc etc.

Don't see any reason to think too hardly about how I pronounce a title. Just go with what's laid out before me, and if I pronounce it stupidly wrong or something (which I don't think is really possible in this context) then I can just say it right the next time. All's good.

What would be the point of having an X in the title if they didnt want you to pronounce it?

I don't know about these other series, but the "X" in Hunter × Hunter isn't even really a letter, it's a multiplication sign. I guess it just serves as a cross symbol, because "Hunter × Hunter" just looks better on paper than "Hunter Hunter".

Lol, I say "times", like you do in math. So for example, "Hunter times Hunter". Does that sound weird?
what if there is a crossover between hunter x hunter and kiss x sis (hunter x hunter x kiss x sis)?!

Actually i dont pronounce it and also correct someone in case they do.

I used to pronounce it , but after coming to know that they aren't supposed to be pronounced I dont pronounce them.

Even commercials promoting those anime , dont pronounce.

But the thing it differs with anime for eg. its " HighSchool Dee Dee" and "Hunter Hunter". but it is still "Kiss X Sis" and not "Kiss Sis".

Strangely enough, I pronounce the "x" in all of them except Kiss x Sis. I don't even know myself why.

I don't pronounce the x in Hunter x Hunter because I've been told it's incorrect but do in Kiss x Sis and High School DxD.

For me, it's very incomplete without pronouncing X
But I'd heard voice actors from Bakuman, Gintama and many others only mentioned Hunter Hunter. :3

Depends on the Anime.

For example, for Hunter x Hunter I pronounce it Hunter Hunter but for some other anime like Kiss X Sis I pronounce the whole thing.

I pronounce as square, like hunter² or highschool d² since x = times
