Wow, so that's where all the red blood cells went. Holy shit, it's like a whole family coming back together like a reunion LOL. Holy shit, this epiosde gave me a scare at first until I saw all those cells again. Looks like they still had a lot of work to do though.

I love how the mood this episode turned from eerie to excitement.

Going to miss this anime for sure. One of the most unique shows I've seen this year.

All's well that ends well I suppose, blood transfusion to the rescue. xD

Overall, a pretty interesting show. Unique premise if anything and I like how they kinda wrapped up the human body's functioning in this Shounen'ish kinda premise and monster of the day fights. Quite enjoyable but if anything the continuous monster of the day kinda premise also got a little stale after a while but overall a very enjoyable show,

And so the final episode is here. The damage really is quite severe. The trip across the breach really was pretty precarious that was made even more so by the rising blood pressure. Despite how grim things are RB cell's determination really is impressive and shows how much she's grown. These new RB cells sure arrived in the nick of time. While the event may have been severe its nice that in the end things managed to return to normal. A great end to the series.

Great finale. I loved seeing how the hemorrhage problem was resolved and how Red Blood Cell earned the respect of her lil kouhai.

Would totally like to see more of this or it's spinoff somewhere down the line.

An excellent finale to end a very good show.

It did get repetitive at many times but I really admired the creativity behind its world and its characters that was on display.

Plus we had likable characters and good art too. A very solid 8 here.

Ah, such a nice final episode - I'm glad the body was saved. I honestly got a bit emotional at the parts where RBC wouldn't give up, need some RBCs like her in my body.

Overall, I enjoyed this show a lot more than I thought I would. I know episodes are quite repetitive with the whole problem-solution format but I never once got bored and I looked forward to new episodes every week, so I'm really sad it's over. I'm definitely gonna miss my weekly dose of the platelets, but I was a fan of pretty much all characters so I'll miss them all.

8/10 and I really hope there's some continuation whether its a sequel, OVA or an adaptation of the spin-offs.

In my opinion, this is so far my own AOTY!
I'm actually going to become a blood donor soon so this episode reminds me of that, made me happier about my decision!

Such a awesome ending to such a awesome, feel-good show!

...the most important thing I've learned from this show is that my Red Blood Cells have amazing legs. This alone makes me want to take better care of my body. Also little Platelet-chans are super cute and awesome.

I would like to highlight the fact of all the stuff learned or remebered while I was seeing this show, and still doing it in the cutest way possible.

White Blood Cell is material for Huband of the Year, just saying.
7/10 for all the time, and I'll miss this :')

A really creative and fun way to show how the body works. I love the character designs and the overall idea of the series, and David Production's animation doesn't disappoint, even if it can get a bit repetitive. Definitely amongst the best series of this season. Solid 7.5/10 for me, but I'll leave it at a 7 in my list.

Pretty good fitting lasting conclusion although didn't like that it was trying too hard to be serious which doesn't fit with the mood of the show has been so far. overall may not be the best show due of its 'limitation' and episodic/repetitive nature but as a fan of episodic shows I think it at least managed to do everything its best shot within its limitation with almost every episode being creative monster-of-the-week (altho ep10 was bad and 8-9 were okayish) and very likable casts. Wish there was bit more episodes since I think there are other interesting topics show could touch on.. *sigh* gonna miss these characters.. :(

Disappointing episode. The change of tone is very bad.

Overall, it had a decent start but turned to be a bad show. It did get repetitive easily. The Red Blood Cell was very annoying. Honestly, the only good episodes were when she didn't show up. My score drop from a 5 to a 4 in one episode. 4/10 for the anime.

The anime itself is average. Animation and scene transitions are quite bad, but the creativity is definitely there. It's amusing how they could connect cell functions and body reactions with the stuff happens in the world so well.

I doubt this show would have nearly as much viewers if not for the platelet loli memes.

6/10 overall

I miss this anime already! :(

I just noticed that our RBC isn't wearing her jacket correctly in the ending theme. She has the dark side out, even though she's carrying oxygen.

The cells were really funny with their goofy expressions in such a serious situation.

When I heard the new cells speaking with a dialect, I realised it was a blood donation. That made me feel so relieved.

I learnt a lot from this. Not just medical stuff, but also some new Japanese words. For example: sekkekkyuu, hakkekkyuu, kesshouban, sanso, etc.

Hope we can get a second season!

Loved this show from the moment I heard that opening! XD
It has action, cuteness, drama, comedy and is just relaxing to watch.

I love you lil platelets! Thanks for taking good care of my body ;-;

Best girls were Macrophage and Eosinophil.

WBC is so the best boy of the season (maybe even year). DEFINITELY deserves a second season!

This was certainly an intense ending! The situation was really dire, and they managed to convey it well. RBC gave her all until the end, and it really felt like the end, but the transfusion happened, and the day was saved, I loved it. I'm also glad she was able to be a good senpai in the end, and that all is well again. I'm going to miss this one.

It was very obvious how this was gonna resolved, from the beginning. But they still executed the entire thing really well. I love how this show was a mix of comedy, decent action, and education (by Mamiko Noto!). Really well done. 8/10

Cells At work deserves a 8 for being so original and educational at the same time while still keeping it's brutal comedy and action /(less serious tone?) in consistent through out the show ,while the core show isn't amazing i'm just impressed that they made such a premise work while relating a lot of human body aspect to real things.

for the amount of approval from doctors and advertisements in the west Cells at Work has i guess reopened a door for another type of anime ,doesn't hurt to want to learn more while watching something!.

I would want that red blood cell working in my body, but darn is she clumsy but as the Kouhai said she is passionate and experienced. Still wanted a cell romance between her and white blood cell even though inappropriate for the education of the cells.

Those transfused cells did a pretty good job though and helped red blood cell in a brink of annihilation. Hemorrhagic shock is really serious and this episode and the previous one really helped me under stand the strain cells endure in that state, such heartbreaking.

I will miss the platelets and, the show's creative way of educating us about our body cells with such brilliance.

8/10.

I loved the end, although I had already read that in the manga, but if I freaked for a moment with the fact that they could have killed the Erythrocyte... and there our beautiful ship would have died in that blood trauma!

The good thing is that nothing worse happened to her!
And to my surprise, technically I finish with this image, this beautiful anime... hehehehehe although of course, it is never too much to promote the beautiful physiological love between Red Blood Cell x White Blood Cell >///< 💓💓👌

By the way these last pics of Red Blood Cell x White Blood Cel... are very intense!

UUUF!! She always knows how to transport what one always you need at hand!!! *q* 💓💓👌

The whole body being a world and cells being characters was an interesting idea and was somewhat educational. Felt a bit too repetitive and shallow overall though. I guess they can't really do anything more complex story wise and still keep it scientifically accurate. Was a pretty fun watch. 6/10 series.

An interesting concept that didn't hold up as an anime after a few episodes. Scientifically quite accurate, I heard- not that important, this isn't a documentary. Visually lacklustre, characters uninspiring, repetitive, flat dialogue, bad comedy, this has the works. Tried to be all preachy and fable-like at a few points(Naive T episode, kid T cells, last arc and MC RBC's 'development') - doesn't really work when the whole setting of the world seems closer to dystopian than utopian, and when the seriousness is undermined by the usual hyper-light heartedness. No tension whatsoever with the germ invasions/health risks, apart from the cancer cell arc and tentatively the last arc. Platelets were cute when they first appeared; the effect wore off quickly after a few episodes. One of the worst shows I've ever finished; 2-3/10
